I really need your help guys. I got a 6000 Btu Window Air conditioner and need to run it at least 15hours a day. What should I except to pay around the chicago land area per month to run it? Is there anyway to calculate that.
And what about those portable ones do they work and are they cheaper to operate.

Its about 90 Degrees in my house and I run the ac at night don't want to run it in the day need to find out if I can afford it first. Any idea what it can be or a range?

I bought a 10,000 Portable last summer and am using it right now. Dont' know how I made it with out it. It is made by EVerstar
