Blackbeard dork,

Marquis is a very good hitter, so your statement just shows your lack of knowledge, maybe you should learn more about the teams that you bet on. I am from St. Louis, so it makes sense to me. LaRussa does it all the time.

LMAO...I know the teams I bet on bro.
Marquis is a good hitter FOR A PITCHER. He's still what, a .200 hitter? :puppy:

I'd rather have a hitter on the bench go out there and Pinch hit that at least takes batting practice every day instead of a shitty pitcher who hits maybe once every 5 days???? PLEASE...come one!

Now, willis from florida is the only pitcher i'd consider pinch hitting, as he has done before, he is a very very good hitter...
Play the law of averages in baseball, bro. A hitter who at least takes BP every day versus a pitcher who hits once every 5 days? NOT SMART!

Again, you prove yourself to be nothing but an ignorant fool. Marquis is one of the only pitchers in baseball that takes BP with all of the other regulars at every game. I guess I shouldn't expect much intelligence or knowledge from someone in Greenville, NC. Such ignorance....Learn the facts before you spout off with such ignorance. It just shows your utter lack of knowledge. You must be a great capper, LOL. Stick to the minor league teams in North Carolina or learn what you are talking about.

yeah okay, I have a master's degree. What do you have? My location has NOTHING to do with intelligence.
LaRussa is known to make boneheaded moves, he takes a lot of risks and that can't even be debated.

Let's see here....you have aron Miles who is a .283 hitter versus Marquis a .200 hitter????? HMMMMMMM
J-Rod is a .347 hitter versus .200 for marquis....yeahhhhhhh
and Larry Bigbie, hell he's a .235 that's still a lot better than .200...exactly...so you're the idiot, can't do simple math i guess!

I have a masters degree too, that means nothing. Masters degrees are a dime a dozen. LaRussa is one of the best managers of all time, look at the all time wins..........

FACT IS, you have no idea what you are talking about. Go check on the moonshine out back, hick.

dbl: I guess he didn't see Marquis pinch-hit the other day in Diego and hit a LEADOFF TRIPLE in the third inning. Marquis won the award they give to pitchers who have the best avg. from last year, so it's not like he can't hit. LaRussa is known to use Marquis early if he can and save some of his other pinch hitters for later in the game, situations, etc., and extra innings...

Exactly, obviously you know what you are talking about, too bad Blackbeard needs to do some more homework before spouting off and calling people idiots.

damn, you don't read. You should turn your Master's degree in. Let me guess, it's an MBA. every fool and their brother has one of those! :puppy:

I said he had GREAT players, never mentioned anything about BAD players.
Bobby cox hasn't had that many great players like larussa and has won 14 straight divisional titles. He's had GOOD players and maybe one or two GREAT one's. LaRussa has had a lot of GREAT players AND in weak ass divisions. the fact you're debating this is silly man! :dancefool
