that is the reason theya re the dog, obviously....

but there is no way they should be a dog in reality..... Ive got em as a favorite over both carolina or buffallo.....

If I didnt already have a future on edmonton to win cup I would be all over +115....

have said it before - if the oilers go 1-0 down in the final they'll get blown out. They are a team playing well above themselves at present and if they get behind the doubts and their normal level of play will return. Buffalo for me.

They were down 1-0 to the Wings and 2-0 to the Sharks. You think 1-0 to the Sabres will cause them to fold?

I disagree. Any team that can go down 2-0 to the sharks and essentially steamroll the next 4 games is not ready to mail it in after 1 road loss.

I'm just basing my argument on what I've seen of them all season long. The level of pressure/expectancy on the players in the final will be intense - the whole of edmonton are crazy about hockey unlike the US and hence a negative start in the final IMO will be too much.

I'm not saying they can't win the final - if they start well they could ride this rollercoaster all the way to win it but at the odds on offer not for me.
