he's not the only one to use...Mike Schmidt said he would've taken them if they were around, since they were not policing the issue.

Hell...Ruth didnt play against any blacks or latinos, since they were prohibited from playing in the majors...lets put an asterisk there as well.

Its just a number/record...is it really need of so much debate?

if you're going to put an explanation to every record, then might as well do it for everyone...its just a number, wont affect my everyday life - thats all i'm saying.

its not an issue so cut & dry...if your going to shit on Bonds...then shit on the whole MLB for the past 15-20 yrs...as MLB just as guilty as anyone.

I didn't see those players get pitched around or flat out walked on a consistent basis like Bonds. Players of "that era" can't be compared to a player like Bonds. It's like comparing a 19 inch black and white TV to a 52 inch Plasma TV.

The main reason I can't stand Bonds is because he is a first class jackass. Not becuase of steroids. Roids were just the icing on the cake. Bottom line is that he will always be remembered as a jackass and cheater 1st and as a great hitter 2nd.
