I doubt it, even if he goes to an american league team. the adjustment to a different league would catch up with him and no way he continues in san fran in any role other than a situational pinch hitter. he is a liability in the field and can no longer run, i hate to say but i feel a little sorry for him. whether or not he used roids he still had to hit the ball, a task that many cant accomplish with or without steroids.

Sure he will Pass Hank, its just a matter of time. He might get 20 more this year and that would certainly put him in strikeing range of the next record...The BIG cheater !

No he won't.

I stated so coupla years ago(@ the time when Daunte Culpepper got off to his great start--also predicted similar non-perfect-record-attaining fate for him) & everyone thought i was nuts....

It's not realistic, given the actual severity & plethora of physical ailments.

Speaking of: the smartest thing any book could do is offer such a 'lifetime' prop!

lets hope not. Babe was already shafted by this juice freak. hope he does the right thing and walks from the game.

does anyone really care if he breaks it? i sure as hell dont. now if no juice was involved, it would be a miraculaous feet, and send chills up my spine. but "knowing" he is a cheat, and a roid head, it does nothing but disgust me each and everytime i see him walk to the plate.

and also i might add, he is a prick.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. No matter what the media says, believe this will be Barry's last year in MLB. The Giants won't sign him and I don't believe he will sign with another team just to chase the record and go through another painful year both physically and mentally. He wants to win a World Series more then be the HR leader. He enjoys playing with his current team mates more then anything and is very appreciative of their character and support as well as the San Francisco fans. He will not catch Hank and I don't believe he even cares. Catching the Babe was enough for him in my opinion. Just watch and see.
