Hope everyone has a good memorial day!

Goin to down to the base in a while to see some old comrades I served with in iraq then going to the hospital to see some of my buddies who are paying the ultimate price for our freedom.
I was lucky to escape and still live with my injury although it's a pain in the ass everyday but others were not so fortunate!
Please remember to keep these and our fallen soldiers in your prayers today! It's what memorial day is all about...

Yanks play is not just a homer pick, as you will note i play against them more than I play for them. I believe their bats are gettin hot again and will come out swining today, i could see a 10-7 game here today under the sun! Go yanks and have a great memorial day!

Thanks for your service to our country! Please tell your friends in the hospital that America is praying for their recovery and that we appreciate the sacrifice they made to keep us free. All veterans are in our prayers, not just today, but everyday!

thanks guys! I sure will!!! It's a tough day for me knowing how close I came to paying that sacrifice.
I was in the marine corps 1997-2003 and was in iraq during the beginning of the war. Was injured pretty bad but luckily made it out.
Bunch of friends of mine weren't so lucky and when I was injured, 3 guys from my company were killed in front of me.
So I use this day to reflect and say thanks to god and everyone!

gonna go off to Halyburton Naval Hospital at cherry point MCAS for a while and see some friends and participate in some of the festivities
