On Pace for about 75-80 so as soon as these f'ing pitchers and mangers :icon_conf realize he is better hitter than Bonds at the moment they will stop pitching to him. So I would say you are about right in the low 60's.

I hope he breaks Barry's record. That would be sweet.

Only 40 BB through 48

when Bonds hit 73 he drew 177 walks. Then 198 and even 232 one season.

one big difference between the giants and cards is that they got rolen, edmonds and company hitting behind him.....bonds never had anyone.

Hell Jim Thome might hit 60!

Talk about a comeback story...Thome is back on pace to get close to 600 career homers, at 35 he's at 450 after today.

Whoever said his career was in serious decline really jumped the gun, he only had one bad year due to injury.

I think over 60...think it will be very tough to keep up this pace all season with injuries and just the wear and tear of the season.

But I'm hoping he hits a ton because it's fun to watch.

He is on pace for about 82.6 whic would be crazy. It depends really if they pitch to him. I think he could hit 75 if he gets pitched to.
