Francesco this is my first time noticing your plays. That is one hell of a record you got going, keep it up. I just started capping this season, and things have not gone so well. Down about 2 gur.. Anyway, I do like the Boston pick as well, but was wondering what your thoughts were on parlaying it with the spanks (+2) or Athletics (-1) or Giants (-1). Let me know on this b/c I am just a college kid so it is hard for me to lay high juice on just one game, and love playing two team parlays. Look forward to hearing from you.

I like the play, Chacin was shelled in his minor league rehab start, he doesn't have great career success against Boston, when he first got hurt there was thought he may need Tommy John and be done for the year-- now he is back in a month? Seems suspect to me and judging by the way Toronto treated Burnett's arm injury (started year on DL came off DL to start one game, got re-injured back on DL) they can't exactly be trusted. I'm going to play Boston straight win and -1.5 probably.

Chacin is 2-0 against Boston in his "career" - as short as that may be..........
Maybe you were referring to the related 5.49 ERA????

Chacin is also 4-0 at home this year, and the Jays have enjoyed success against the Red Sox so far..........

BUT Francessco likes BOSTON tonight.............so...................

Francessco.............I was wondering if the primary reason you were playing BOSTON was that this is Chacin's first start back????
Also wondered what you thought about the ever popular Jays over tonight.

Toronto at night has been hitting overs at a crazy pace - including last night as you know, which was the first Halladay started over in a bit....
Toronto is swinging well - as always............
Ramirez loves playing at the Skydome and watching his home runs bounce off the hotel.......
Toronto has scored 54 runs in winning 6 of the 7 games that Chacin started this year.........
Over is 8-3-1 in the last 12 Boston Road games, 6-1 last 7 started by Beckett............

LOVE to know what your numbers show...............

Thanks for sharing - despite the jealous bashing that must be endured when you excel at anything it seems............. :toast:

Chacin has a 5.49 ERA, 1.88 WHIP and Boston hitters are hitting .350 off him that is what I deem being unsuccessful. He may be 2-0 against but his 1 win came against David Wells this year, who gets hammered by Toronto and was making his first start of the year. Chacin is the product of good run support at home he sports a 5.80 home ERA, which is horrific. Toronto gave him 6 1st inning runs of support in his last home start against Oakland and he gave it all back, against LAA Toronto put up 13 runs, against NYY Toronto put up 10 runs of support. You probably get the picture by now. Chacin=poor pitcher this season, he has not pitched well to justify a 5-1 record, factoring in he got shelled in his minor league rehab and he is facing the big hitting Red Sox's I think his good luck runs out tonight. Also, a factor is that Chacin will be on a pitch count so he probably won't last long. Considering he has a tendenacy to be wild he may not last 5 innings tonight.

BOSOX SU (-143 )

90% probability

Final Score: Blue Jays 8; Red Sox 5

I'll gloat... I'll get cocky...I barely win my POY's and I got blown out again tonight....

A loss is a loss is a loss...over 1K to lose 1400+ Red Sox...I'll pay the book (damm) for the heavy loss....though I rarely have the balls to stomach such a normal pathetic play on my part.

by Randolph:

Normally I wouldn't lower myself to the pathetic pitiness of a twit like francesco's level. However after my apology to him earlier today followed by no response or reply, I've decided to leave you (francesco) with this, in association with your Red Sox loss:

francesco is about to get this shortly>>>>:machinegu

I'm about to get this very shortly>>>>:shaking:

For the record francis, try looking up the definition of apology. I suppose the Red Sox helped explain the definition for you in a sort of way, wouldn't you say! :missingte

Thanks PyRo CaPPer. I don't necessarily enjoy submitting junk like that but what I feel is good for the goose is damm certainly good for the gander (if you know what I mean). We had a miniature squabble, if you will, I genuinely apologized and he went on as if nothing happened, cocky as a rooster with his feathers stuck up in the air and then the Blue Jays kindly brought him back to civilization with a 'bang'! Well when I saw that, I thought then why the hell not! If he's too good to offer as much as even an acknowledgement to my apology or whatever, then what goes around will almost always come around and low and behold the Blue Jays did the trick for me. So what better time to follow up with his insult than to turn it around full circle in his direction. By the way there PyRo CaPPer, thanks for taking notice. :103631605

Cripes, not quite sure how I managed to get 3 identical replies on here but I suppose it makes for good reading anyway. Ah well, it's all in fun and games. :toast: (if someone can remove the latter 2, I would appreciate it, though not as much as francis I suppose)

degz...

sorry it took so long to respond, but it's been a bad 3 days with my little guy in the hospital and work etc...

I really don't play parlays...they are the kiss of death to me, but maybe not to others... I guess if you had parlayed the sytem's calls last night( METS.GIANTS) you'd be cashing... good stuff...

if 1 had lost, instead of about even (will explain), you'd lose it all...

what I will do if I don't want to lay,say -159..I'll buy it down to -1 run (-120) if it wins by 1 run you push...no biggie... if it loses, you just saved good coin... That's what I did last night with San Fran.. -1 ...

just a thought...

The only parlay I may play is if I LOVE 2 large favs...
i'll parlay them...the payoff may be 1:1, but it's better than laying 2 -190 plays, etc...
