thanks capt.carl for posting early. I love wagering the night before and you are one of the few who posts every night. great job . I am with you on all three, a little concerned the tigers take one but I am beginning to think this team is not as good as I thought.Love the As to roll tommorrow,in a tight race with texas and teams need to take of a home stand with the royals.

Thanks idgethemidget for the kind words. I try to post the plays early where the I think the line will move against the pick. If I think the line will move the other way, I will try to post later.

Love the picture. For the record, I NEVER say anyone in baseball with more overall talent than Roberto Clemente. Ask Baltimore! When the situation called for power, he delivered. He would steal a base when the game mattered. Defense? The best!

Asl Sandy Koufax who he thought was the toughest hitter in baseball. He has said Clemente time and time again. Ask Bob Gibson how he felt with Roberto at the plate.

Clemente had so much class, the anti-Bonds. He never forgot where he came from and lost his life giving to the people who needed him. They have a great bronze statue of Clement outside of the new Pirates stadium.
