Pinnacle Sports- Scared of Professional Action?

I have a question for all professional sports bettors- Have you ever been afraid of having your Pinnacle account limited? Think its not possible? Think again.

My Pinnacle account, which has been active for years, was limited to $50 bets this past January. The message I received was this:

"After reviewing your account, your business has been deemed as undesirable and therefore your limits have been lowered to $50."

In SBR's review of Pinnacle, they claim :

Overall, Pinnacle is a great book for the moderate to larger size internet player. This is the undisputed best book for the professional player, without a close second in sight.

Limit Collars: No- All Action Welcomed

Something doesn't line up here...why is SBR claiming that Pinnacle does not limit accounts from professionals? My account is 100% certain evidence that this is untrue.

The only reason I have yet to bring this to light is I was afraid of losing my Pinnacle account completely. After 4 months of tediously tallying my bets in nice little columns ($50 bet at a time), I've had enough. As of right now, I can get down $50 at a time, 2 minutes apart. So I can get large amounts of money down, but it takes me over an hour in some cases.

Anyone else want to come forward or am I the only one?

I love Pinnacle and have had no problem getting paid over the last few years. Early lines, low juice and I have never heard of anyone getting stiffed from them.

They must have offered you a job which you turned down so they dont want you your action. If you are not betting with them, they will not let you bet against them. The computer must have sniffed you out. Whats your secret.
This is big.

I have always been paid, that isn't the issue. The issue is that my account has been limited to $50 bets for the past 4 months. Don't believe it? It's 100% true, I am in the process of contacting SBR right now with my account number to verify it with Pinnacle and either: A) expose Pinnacle for not being the professional haven they claim to be or B) prove to SBR that Pinnacle does indeed shy away from large action and limit accounts.

We are not a dispute resolution center, we are geared towards helping the player learn how to make cash. I am merely affiliated with Pinnacle thru my site. They are next to impossible to get ahold of, unless they want to get ahold of you. The way they do this is by dropping a note in your account for you to call a number (which isnt customer support, or any number listed on the website). Over the NCAA basketball season, they made me call in several times to this number to explain why I was taking the action that I was, as their overnight lines went from soft to hard by morning.

Of course I contacted them by email back in January, asking for an explanation, and never received a response.

Budworth- Yes, my handle is EdTeach on other forums.

Don't you think it kind of lowbrow to advertise another site as your homepage, while you are here at the RX? Just my opinion.

D2Bets-

I was hammering overnight NBA/NCAA basketball lines and playing random NBA and NHL props for large amounts (I don't feel comfortable saying how much). Like I said before, they made me call in several times before I could place a wager. For about a 2 week period, they had the sorriest props in the world...I remember some very specifically:

Antawn Jamison Un 15.5 Rebounds
Eric Gagne Ov. 1 PT +200
Ben Roethlesberger Un. 2.5 Sacks +1000

Just sloppy linescrafting and soft overnight lines. Can you blame me for betting into these? Is this MY FAULT for them putting up bad lines? Of course all of these wagers were cancelled. In about a 2 week span, I had about 10 wagers cancelled, and then my account was limited.

Captn Carl, you are right, while I am posting and asking for your help I will remove my homepage from my profile.

The sad part is, even when they came out with a bad line, it never went as action, which was fine with me. Bad wagers were always cancelled. So how am I a threat? Why limit my action to $50 bets?

Multiple Pinnacle accounts?

Possible Hacking situation?

Pinny usually doesn't limit anyone to $50.

Well this is a whole different ballgame.

I was totally surprised reading the thread until I got to this part because I have never heard of anyone getting limited at pinnacle for just betting in to them.

You however - have tried to bet in to faulty lines - several times - and they are leery of you. Its not like you have beaten them for a million bucks betting NBA sides.

I just think there is a difference here that needs to be stated. You were not limited because you won there - you were clearly limited because of the TYPES OF BETS you were making.

So I dont think your statement of "pinnacle being afraid of professional action" is correct.

The amount I wagered on those sloppy props paled in comparison to what I was wagering on NCAA and NBA overnights, AND not one of the sloppy lines ever went into a game as "action" they were all cancelled. How is this my fault? If someone is giving away free money, don't you take it?

No, I didn't beat them for a million dollars, or any amount close to that. All I did was bet when the odds were in my favor, isn't that what we all strive to do?

As for multiple accounts...no multiple accounts. I don't know what you mean by hackjob.

GU,
I can guarantee your advertisers won't be happy with statements like the ones that I have bolded.

agree. you seem to make a habit of betting obvious bad lines. why not inform them of their mistake or refrain from betting obviously bad lines.

They may have limited you not for winning but for continually betting error lines. An honest person would notify them that they have posted an error line. Maybe they just got pissed at you for trying to steal from them. Thats what it is you know.

Look - you can pretend to assume that you dont have any idea why this happened to you - but I can tell you with a fair degree of certainty that they did not like you betting in to obvious bad lines.

Let me tell you the difference. I too have seen these bad lines on props. When I have, I have sent them an email telling them and they credit my account 50 bucks. Why do I do it? Because there is absolutely no chance in hell that they dont catch it eventually and because they know I am not out to fuck them at the first opportunity.

I can tell you from personal experience that if you play fair they are not going to limit you - even if you take a lot of money from them. I would bet my last dollar that you are limited because of their perception that you would like to take advantage of them - and that is a different story altogether from what you first presented in this thread.
