People are still going to gamble regardless. In toronto where you can't smoke in bars/clubs owners felt it would be doom to there industry and it has been just fine since the ban took place a couple of years ago. Casino Windsor is going to be hurting more due the Canadian dollar being so strong against the American dollar more people are just going to stay in Detroit to gamble since there money doesn't go as far as it use too.

Huh? I think its a great idea. If you want to smoke, go outside losers! Why should 20% of the population be allowed to foul up the ambience and health of a public place?
I smoke and I don't mind the smoking bans. Although, I think they should leave it up to the individual establishment owners and let the public decide if they want to go there. If people do not want to be in an establishment that allows smoking they will go elsewhere and if smokers do not want to go to an establishment that does not allow smoking they will go elsewhere.

Just as I don't my tax dollars to support someone with a fractured skull who didn't wear a hard hat on a constuction site I don't want to pay for long term rehab for a non-smoker who has a cancerous lung removed.
