If I have the last team batting in the 9th and its a tied game. Lets say the batter hits a double with 2 men on. Will they both score and cover the run line or does just the 1st run score?

Home team...9th inning...only one run is counted...it's a "walk off" hit at that point..with two men on...the lead runner would have to be at least at second base...once he scores..the game is over..it's academic...anything less than a home run..it's over. One run victory.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

my advise, not that it's worth anything is just try to pick winners, shit thats difficult if not impossible for most of us.

laying -1.5 is a bad bet, cost yourself how much $$$$ just trying to save juice? the only run lines i have ever played are + 2 or more, if you like a big dog straight up then why not take the + runs as small insurance? hate to see you outa the game but you can't be a winner by quitting.

of course, if you get some shithead like Todd Pratt who doesn't circle the bases on Robin Ventura's game ending grand slam, then you really have something to be pissed about. Otherwise, this is part of the bitch of betting home teams -1.5.

for what it's worth

Chigg. I live in Houston...and was on the Cardinals big myself, at -1.5. It hurt like a mother. That was a wierd game man. The Astros are very unpredictable, more than most I think. I have seen some getting -1 runlines which I am starting to like. As for Teazeman's comment, to me there is no value in laying -185 for the cards straight up. Well, there wasn't at the time I made the bet. LOL

Don't quit - parlay.
