Toronto team total over 5.5

This team has been scoring runs all year, and I don't see any reason why that changes tonight against an unproven pitcher. Largest baseball wager of the season so far.

Let's get the :money8:

not sure if there is a theory or not about it, but most of the time, don't these "unproven" or rookie pitchers come in the game in their start and do very well since no one has scouted them at the major league level...anywho...not sure about that, but I do know that I lost LARGE twice this year going against the rookie pitchers...

maybe something to look into...or maybe something to ignore...lol

Hosh, I have seen that happen myself. I just don't think this is a good spot for him to get his first start. Toronto's bats have been on fire all year and they should be mighty excited tonight facing a potential sweep.

agree with TT here...this isn't a stud that we've got coming up to pitch...would have preferred to see Lester come up myself

This has been a trend recently this week we had Shawn Hill, Enrique Gonzalez, Jered Weaver all come and throw pretty good ball games. Hill faced the Dodgers, Gonzalez the Reds and Weaver the Orioles. All 3 of those clubs were struggling at that time. Dodgers were hot but they were missing Lofton, Kent, Drew so virtually they had there bench in that game. On the flip side White Sox's faced a rookie from the Jays last week Tannebium (sp?) and hit him hard, the Korean kid from the Cubs making his first big league start on Sunday got absolutely man handled. The theory can really go either way and from what I've read about Pauley he did have success in AA, but this is the Majors and this is a team that just destroyed Josh Beckett and Matt Clement.

second time around in the order , most pro hitters shld be able to catch on ........these youg kids don't have experience and tend to fall back on their fastball......you know what happens to fastballs indoors in the show that get too much of the plate

Pauley is cooperating (4.1 innings, 10 hits), but we're still sitting on 4 in the bottom of the 5th.

There is no way in hell this play should lose :smoking:

Thanks guys.

Tor overs were 17-9-2 in May(Why am I just today figuring this out today?). This won't be the last Tor team or game over that you'll see out of me. Hopefully, they don't move the #'s too far.
