1 game series. Detroit wins game 6 (which i think they will as the Heat are the biggest playoff chokers in the Nba the last 10 years) it's all over.

The Heat should be able to win at home - Detroit still is not playing well, Billups and Sheed are their stars and neither played well again - if the Heat lose game six they will fold - no need to even go back to Detroit for 7.

No I don't think the pressure is on Miami for Game 6. You have a group of veterans that know what the deal is all about. The crowd will be pumped up and Detroit is still not shooting the ball well. Wade and Shaq should be enough to squeeze out a close one in Miami IMO.

Anyone notice the often used cliche that Prince used after the game that we had "nothing to lose". Detroit had EVERYTHING to lose in this game, in that they were facing elimination after an excellent regular season.

Athletes say these tired cliches without event thinking about what they mean. Perhaps an upstart Cinderella team could use the cliche, in that they weren't supposed to be there anyway, but how can the best team in the league facing elimination say there is NOTHING to lose?

Don't forget that in Game 4, the final score really isn't indicative of how close that game really was.

The Heat really need to close them out tomorrow, otherwise they're in a world of trouble. Should be a great game.

you gotta keep in mind if r wallace's shots arent falling he will run away and sulk and probably get a t in next game.

and having flip on the sideline in an important game wont help in miami

ive said it before ill say it again - without the structure and plays run for them in the playoffs that larry brown gave them they are a weaker team. its hard to play offence with just the 4 guys

its like new jersey they cudnt win with just 4 offensive scorers either.

Believe that 11-2 record in elimination games is for home games only for Detroit. That being said, feel as though all the pressure is on Detroit here, if anyone at all and of course they won't lay down. No matter if they were down 3-0 they still wouldn't lay down as that is not what this team is all about. Feel Miami squeezes out a sweater and wins game 6 though.

Nope, the 11-2 is for elimination games home or away for this core group. The only losses I can think of are against SA in game 7 last year, and against NJ 4 years ago or so, when they were swept.

Recent road wins when facing elimination include game 6 against Cleveland, game 6 in the finals last year vs SA, and game 7 vs Miami in last years Eastern Conference finals.

If they do lose is Flip going to be the first coach ever fired after a 64-18 season? Wouldn't doubt it
