We know there are many good solid rock books out there but I also know people still open a new acct with new/soso/dangerous book. And soon or later they start complaining about the book.

Why people? why you can't just open with good book?

why?

just wondering.

I will tell you why:

Because we are here to share our experiences with each other in case someone else is considering trying that new book. Pinnacle was once a baby too, yet people were trying them out and reporting nothing but good things. Ditto for Mansion.

We share so others don't have to go through the hassels and headaches when we run across shit books.

We also share when we find great books so others can have great places to play.

Doesn't that make good, common sense?

because may people shop using more than 20 outs

SS, what do you mean by "20 outs"
Sorry I dont understand. I have been here about 6yrs now but I do not know many terms STILL. :cryingcry

Hitman- Good point. Sharing is the best. I am just saying why do people open with weird book when they know/can open with a great solid book.
why? how many books do they need?
i mean.. they have option to open at pinnacle or nine.com (issue book here now). they open with nine. and they are complaining.. That is funny.

:toast:

p.s. I know rx.com has many times with "Rate book. or Which books are solid and etc" Just pick one of 'em

YOu will be happy. need more? pick another from the list.

While many may be satisfied with and only need 2 or 3 books, the more advanced bettor, particularly those that are in this business to make a living and are non-recreational, find themselves being in a never ending need to find additional books to add to their arsenal.

There are many reasons but some are that over time, their limits are cut or they are even shown the door. The importance of getting the best line possible. Different books have different strengths and weaknesses in sports, horses, propositions, etc.

Sharing of experiences is what the Offshore Forum is here for whether they be good or bad in order to inform our fellow members, posters, and viewers. Knowledge is power. Read each thread carefully. Some are just complaints while others are very informative.

Probably because we are stupid enough to trust a moderator's endorsement.

OTED, good point. I am with you. But for me I rather stay with solid book andn open with solid book even if the juice is little bit worse than a new book.

Saw many people complain with weird book, or new book. I was one of victims too. lol

good example from me.
Such as Skybook. I have a acct with SKYBOOK. Personally, I do not like skybook much because they do not have many lines as others (pinnacle or etc). Runlines are up late. But I LOVE 'em. I will keep send funds if I need to. Why? b/c I know they are rock solid. ( I hope they do forever ~)
NO worry!
I can find other book with better juice or more lines.. but I will stay with Sky.

Well, wonderboy, first off you are assuming this is a complaint. It is not. What good would that do? Second, I go through books like Bob Dole pops Viagra. I have been in every book I think I can get my money out. Another assumption gone South, as I have 30+ books at times. I just did not pick nine.com out of thin air for my only book. I am constantly looking for new ones. And please tell me how nine.com is known to be soso or dangerous, unless people like me with some balls go try them and report back here. I tried them, they sucked bad, and I am reporting my experiences. If you have a problem with that you work for them, or are out in left field. I can't tell you how many new books I have started, and reported back positive experiences. But that is the majority. I even started at Pinnacle when they were brand new and gave 30% sign on bonuses, so you never really know. But when some poster I respect posts a bad experience, I look elsewhere.

I can see people trying newer books but the ones NOONE has heard of that is the part I do not get , why they risk there post up with those

I think there is a difference between trying a book that a few have heard of and one that no one has...

I have said it many times the RX POSTERS are your best source as to what book to play or not to play at IMO. I have only posted about a book if someone asks that I have had a true experience in regarding deposits / Withdrawals and CS

True Pat....but one thing I have learned and I think most know already if the book is throwing crazy bonuses like 50% 60% 70% and they are BRAND new it should be a sign not to try?

unless you are 100% completely ready to lose all post up if they go TITS UP and have no one to blame but yourself

I don't disagree with you Dante at all, just answering your question on why some players do it.

I blame myself Dante. I fucked up. I trusted them since they were here and at Don Best, and saw a few nit complaints but nothing bad. But after I went in the dam burst on complaints and it was too late. I was not suckered in by an unrealistic sign up bonus, just a average 20%. Also new they were solid financially. I let them know my intentions up front. I got cutoff internet access by getting a $1. limit, an insult. After having a losing balance and betting a couple of bucks on futures that lost. And boy that was not even the worst of it. Try calling them, the worst ever. I did not see this coming, and this ain't my first pond. You take my story for what it is worth and that is it. If you think I need to blame someone you are dead wrong. Hopefully I can save someone else the trouble. I made a mistake, what could I have done differently?
