But I can tell you that 80's and early 90's baseball cards are worthless for the most part. If you want I have a subscription there so I can look up the prices for you.

That's ok Hines, thanks for taking the time to look them up for me.HinesWard86 said:Also remember, that there is a big difference between what a card books at and what you can sell it for.
The Ultra Jordan Award Winner books at $20, the O'Neal wasn't in the Award Winners set that year. Card 5 in the Award Winners 92-93 set was Pervis Ellison.
The 1989-90 Jordan Hoops card #200 books at $3.
The basketball that sells well from this time is 1984 STAR. If you have a Jordan from that set, you have at least 4 figures in your hand.
As for the three Shaq rookie cards, I need to know the #'s on the back of these cards to see if they are true RC's are just cards from his rookie year. Same with your baseball cards, if you give me the year set and number on each card I can give you a price.
I can remember buying single cards for a penny. That included a stick of gum. Man am I old?HinesWard86 said:That's true. It's hard to get involved involved in the hobby as a kid now because the cheapest SRP is usually $3, although Topps Total comes out with some $.99 packs now. It is definitely a hobby for adults. Hell, look at Upper Deck Exquiste, that product sells for $595, unbelievable. Also, the only cards worth anything the past few years by and large are memorabilia cards or autograph cards, with the exception of the SP Authentic Tom Brady RC (books at $800).

Thanks
