ironman, my brother actually has half-season tickets, so that's how I usually go to games, but the bastard is taking his girlfriend to the game that he has tickets for of that series(they're both Nats AND Yankees fans...fags). But I might try to get some online if they're not outrageously priced, which they probably will be.
Should be a great weekend, though. Hope the Nats can continue to play good baseball. Hope I can make it out to one of those games, but I'll also most likely be at some games coming up vs. the Phillies and Rockies. You going to the Yankees series?

The only game I've been to was the first Mets game with Pedro and it was like a library, with Soriano heating up it should be a great series.

Yeah I'm not surprised tickets are marked up...but I'll tell you what: if you can get upper deck tickets behind home plate or near, you should take 'em. Try to get a row as low as possible, but those are some great seats, you'll have a good time for sure.
Hopefully the Nats can keep it up, make a little run here before the All-Star break. Soriano is on fire, no doubt.

As far as Soriano is concerned, hes 5th place as Outfielders is concerned. Who woulda thought that at the start of the year??
Oh ok, that's right near here...tough year for the Monarchs, definitely expected much more from them. Their window might be closing a little now. Same goes for VCU. We had a nice window to make some serious noise, and squandered it. Chris Paul single-handedly stole a NCAA win from us. Bastard.
The new coach is one of the best recruiters in the nation, but we'll see how he handles the X's and O's aspect of the game. He has a hell of a lot of pressure on him, seeing as how Capel was treated like a god around here, loved by everyone, not to mention the newfound respect nationally for the CAA. Not a ton of talent left at VCU, so he's gonna have to recruit his ass off right away. Capel's a solid coach, but that was a VERY big step up. Good for him, though. He turned down the Auburn job last year and I thought he was foolish to do so, since I knew this past year's team wouldn't be nearly as good, but it paid off. We'll see how he does. He's a players coach, that's for sure.
Sucks that those tickets are that expensive. I'll let ya know if I see anything cheaper out there, although I may have to snag those for myself first!
As for Soriano, he's already paid off for the Nats, since at worst we'll get some great prospects for him at the deadline. I'm hoping by some miracle that if we're not in the case by the break, we trade him for prospects and then are able to sign him in the offseason. He's truly special at the plate. But hey, if they can make a run before the break...ya never know. Last summer was magical at RFK, I'd love to experience the same atmosphere this summer.
