This is a GREAT thing for you guys (since I am colder than a witches tit) but I like the under am thinking of playing it. Both these guys in their last 3 starts have been very effective. Angels all year have been very poor in hitting lefties (.239) but of late it's been worse, just .209 in their last 10 games. And this is not just an average lefty, Sabathia is just about always on his game and one of the best around.
Will Cleveland pound Lackey enough to get the over? It's surely possible but far from a sure thing. As mentioned above he's been on of late and for the season has surrendered only 57 hits in 70 plus innings. His WHIP is very good, just over 1 and though his record doesn't reflect it he's pitched well against the Indians throughout his career. Most guys (especially righthanders) would love to have a career 2.59 ERA against the Tribe like he does, he just usually doesn't get a lot of run support.
Again, not saying it to be funny, but the fact I like the UNDER is probably the best reason of all to play the OVER. I just can't win a game right now, I could pick two sides in one game and miss somehow. Not to mention seems they are all going over right now anyway. I still think it's very possible you are going to be rooting for a bullpen to blow up or some other help (poor defensive play) to pull this one out. These starters could very well make this a low scoring game. Good luck to us all, I am going to make a small play on the UNDER just to help you guys out, LOL.
