With the way the Braves staff is pitching...

Is it hard to see the hot Nats bats get 4-5 runs? Yes, Hudson is going for the Braves but I just don't know if I can lay off the over with the problems the staff is having both in the rotation and especially the bullpen. Nationals coming in hot after lighting up Milwaukee pitching over the weekend, and Livan isn't to trustworthy either.

Braves/Nats OVER 8.5 is a strong play in my book...Thoughts?

Hernandez has been a Braves killer for years. No matter what kind of season hes having, its seems that when he pitches against the Braves, nothing else matters.

Hudson has a 1.23 ERA in his career against Washington, Livan is 2-12 in his career vs. Atlanta. Over/Under has basically been 50/50 the last 3 years when Atlanta and Washington has played. In Livan's last 3 starts against Atlanta the game was under, in Hudson's last 2 starts the game was under. Now throw all recent stats out the window and you got a good Atlanta offense that is due to bust out against a pitcher they have very good success off of. I think Hudson limits Washington tomorrow. I'm playing Atlanta and the over/under is too tough of a toss-up for me to play. Good luck.

Yeah, Livan is 2-14 with an over 5 ERA against Atlanta...Hudson is lights out in three starts against the Nationals like makemakercolin said, but unless Hudson goes very deep into this game I am foaming at the mouth to get the Braves pen on the mound.

Livan was 0-1 with a 3.09 ERA last year against Atlanta (2005) in 2004 he was 0-5 with a 8.10 ERA against Atlanta, 2003 0-1 with a 9.64 ERA, 2002 0-2 with a 4.76 ERA, 2001 0-2 and on and on and on. Are you confused with some other pitcher because as far as my stats go back Livan hasn't BEAT Atlanta in this century.

True, I still have to rub my eyes to make sure I'm not dreaming when I see grandpa Remlinger trotting into games that are close in the 8th/9th innings. I can't believe Bobby Cox hasn't made management get him an actual bullpen arm by now.

Whether it is Remlinger or Reitsma, the Braves pen just can't get an out these days.
