After an [1-8] -11.2 day i decided to take a 2day break and resume today.

2*Washington +156: Although I think Hudson is a very good pitcher, I dont feel the same way for the Braves team as a whole right now. After narrowly escaping defeat from the lowly Cubs the Braves have struggled to keep it close with any club. Braves have slipped into a funk while the Nationals have found their rhythmn. They have won 9 of their last 12 and Livan has won his last 3 outings. With solid pitching and efficient offense I think this is a good spot for the Nats to grab a road win in Atlanta.

2*Marlins +150: After a6 game road stretch and an exhausting series against the Mets which held 3 games in 2 days with 2 going into extra innings I think the Marlins may be able to catch the Giants by surprise. Surprisingly the Marlins have won 9 of their last 12 games. Their offense is rolling on cylinders and are putting up some runs as of late. With Noah Lowry struggling to start the year the Marlins may be able to get at him early. Moehlers numbers have improved these last 3 outings. Posting an ERA of 3.15 and a WHIP of 1.15 also notching a win vs the Giants in their last meeting.

2*Over Mets/Dodgers 9 -120: After a sensational start Brett Tomko has failed to sustain his numbers and has come back down to Earth. Although I dont expect him to perform as poorly as he has in his recent outings I expect him to allow 4-5 runs to the high powered Mets. The Mets however are throwing Alay Soler who has experienced no success since starting. After an awful performance in his latest game he is having his first road start against a young high powered Dodgers offense who has been tearing other teams apart.

2*Under Yanks/Redsox 9.5 -115: Mussina has been lights out recently and he seems to really have his stuff working exactly how he wants it too. Beckett on the other hand has just come off a horrible outing which was his worst of the year. I cant see a pitcher of his caliber not rebounding off such a poor outing in a big game. I expect this to be a duel as both pitchers have the ability to dismantle the opposing offense. Not to mention both pitchers were successful in keeping the totals low when they met the opposition the last time.

2*Arizona -165: With Webb pitching as well as he has and the Arizona hitting as well as they have whats not to love here. The DBacks are rolling along quite smoothly making most of their games look easy. The Phillies have had decent success against decent pitchers and have struggled lately against teams top guns. In their last 3 series they have lost games when facing the teams ace. They were totally shut down after facing the Dodgers Derek Lowe who happens to be a sinkerball pitcher just like my boy Brandon Webb.
1*Zona -1.5 +125

2*Toronto -116: The Orioles continue to struggle with left handed pitchers. They have faced Lilly twice this year and in both outings he has given up only 2 runs. Torontos bats have been hot and Cabrera is just returning off injury.

1*Pittsburgh +137: The Pirates are very hot right now and the Rockies are very cold. The Pirates bats have been ridiculously hot lately and have been providing their pitchers with huge cushions. Ian Snell is capable of pitching a gem on any given day and Cook has been decent lately. I would put 2units on this game but im not sure how much of a factor this long homestand had to do with this newfound success. Hopefully it will do nothing and the Pirates can shake their road woes.

maybe more to come awaiting a line on the cubs game.

2*Under Padres/Brewers 8.5 -105: With Capuano going you know you will be getting a quality start out of the guy. And after a bad outing I believe he'll bounce back strong. The same goes for Clay Hensley who has been pitching very well recently allowing 3 runs combined in his last 2 starts. With two solid pitchers going and the way the Brew Crew has been hitting lately I can see this one falling under the total
