Haven't posted my picks in awhile thought today would be a good day. On the year I'm down around 4 units and have had a very up and down season. Yesterday was very unkind to me so I'm hoping to make up for it today. Here are my 4 games that I like the most on the diamond and will analyze them:

ATLANTA -168 OVER WASHINGTON: The line is up to -175 now but I nabbed it last night at -168 at sportsbetting. Livan Hernandez is horrible in his career vs. Atlanta. Like the Braves use to just light Glavine up everytime he faced them, they do the same thing to Hernandez. Last year he did have better success against them but still did not record a win. Braves counter with Hudson who is now the Braves ace. He started the year slow but has really came on strong as of late. He has great success against Washington in his career and is extremely tough to beat at Turner.

TORONTO -108 OVER BALTIMORE: Daniel CaBBera makes his first start since going on the DL. The reason I capitalized the 2 B's in his name was because the guy is a human base on balls machine. I have never in my life seen someone with such awful control. In half of his 8 starts this year he has walked more than 7 batters. Factor in his track record against Toronto (1-4 with a 6.31) ERA, and that Baltimore has struggled against lefties I think there is great value in this game.

ARIZONA -173 OVER PHILADELPHIA: I'm playing the straight win and the -1.5 (+120) in favor of Arizona tonight. After watching Webb going head to head with Pedro at Shea the other night I am convinced that this guy has finally arrived and will have that sub 2.50 ace type ERA this season. Generally pitchers of Webb's status at home get near a -200 line, especially when matched against someone as subpar as Lidle. Diamondbacks feast on right handed pitching with big lefties like Green, Gonzalez, Tracy in there lineup. .284 vs. righties vs. .262 vs. lefties. Arizona can quite possibly go with a lineup of atleast 7 left handed batters and considering lefties hit an alarming .330 off Lidle this has massacre written all over it.

BOSTON +120 OVER NY YANKES: I grabbed the line last night at +120 it is now down to just +108. Still there is a lot of value in Boston tonight. Beckett has been a big game pitcher in his career and has faired well against NY in previous starts. Mussina has been stellar this year but he is coming off back to back mid 4 ERA seasons. I think Moose will still post a sub 4 ERA year this year but he is due for a rough start to get his numbers back up to where they should be. It is still to be determined if Jeter will be in the lineup and I'm imagining Giambi will after missing the last 2 games. Jeter has hand issues and even if he plays he isn't 100%, neither is Giambi or A-Rod coming off a bad sickness. Rivera's status hasn't been announced but like Giambi I imagine he will be available. Both bullpens are pretty much a diaster outside of the closer position. With Timlin down Boston is relying on Foulke and Tavarez :pucking: and NY on one of the biggest busts this season Farnsworth double :pucking: :pucking: . I see good value in Boston tonight.

Good luck to everyone this evening. Follow me or fade me but I stand by my picks day by day.
