Send Jiving Josh down to Pawtucket. This little boy needs some maturity, refused to give up on fastball -- tried to out-macho NYY and he got bitch-slapped. Al Nipper came out for a visit and there is NO DOUBT in my mind that he told him to try other pitchers and I'm not sure he threw anything other than fastballs after the visit. Francona is Mr Nice Guy and ultimate players coach so I doubt if he even has so much as a long talk with Beckett. Kids a punk with a bad attitude. Won't take direction from anyone, hope he goes down the tubes.
