Tuesday's plays....

With so many posters quitting because of being bashed or because of the losing I have decided to post my plays every day down here like I used to. Win or lose I will throw them out here and endure the abuse that is sure to come. I will be brutally honest, this might be the worst streak of my life. Betting only 1 unit at a time I was up over 20 units less than two weeks ago, once tonight is done I am in the red, just a matter of how much. Yes I am whining about it, I have never seen a stretch like this where every break seemingly goes against me.....

On Saturday I went 0-8, that is hard to do, harder than going 8-0 IMO. A few days before that I played 4 games and not only did they all lose, they scored a grand total of 1 run combined in all 4 games. To make it worse one of the games went 13 innings or so. Would love to see a prop bet for that, play 4 teams and have the total runs of all of them equal 1 run or less. Tonight I am getting pounded again. I play the over in the Tampa/LAA game, after watching the Angels pound Sabathia into submission and score 14 runs last night, tonight they get shutout by some bum from the Devil Rays and that horrendous bullpen that has blown so many of my under bets earlier in the year.

Don't even bring up unders, that is mostly what I play and they are getting just pummeled of late. It's unreal how me playing an under can light up a teams offense. Just to give you 1 example tonight, I had the under in the Cubs game. With two outs and two men on I was relieved to see the pitcher Zambrano come to bat. He is hitting .045 for the year, lowest batting average I can remember seeing in a long while. What does he do?? Drives one over the fence for a 3 run homer. You think if I had the over and needed runs that would ever happen? The pitcher in the other NL game I had under on also drove in a run or two when at the plate...

Anyway enough crying, here are my plays for Tuesday night. I swear to you I really mean it when I say play the other side of these games and you will win way more than you will lose. If I ever heat up again I will be the first to admit it and tell you not to fade me, either way win or lose I will be right here throwing them up on the forums. A consistant loser is just as profitable as a consistant winner if you know how to bet him. I am running so bad right now I shamelessly throw my plays out here for the good of the forums. Promise not to be as longwinded tomorrow, I'll just get right to the losers and save all the commentary.

Thanks Jman. I know how it gets, I really do, I know you guys take a lot of uncalled for abuse at times. For some reason I am hoping that this will somehow jumpstart the year I am having and turn it around. Was doing fine until about 2 weeks ago, I really wanted to quit then, maybe I should have. Either way I have decided to stick it out no matter how bad things get, even if I am betting $5 bucks a game by the end of the season I refuse to give up and let the baseball GODs have the satisfaction of making me quit.

I am starting to take this losing personal now.

I am posting my plays as much as I can. I may not be an asset to the forum yet, but someday I will be.

Therx is far to valuable of a website to let a few posters ruin it.

Great attitude sir. You might be surprised how many people are noticing what you are doing. Either way my brother you already are an asset to this place, not just the big boys who get 10,000 views make the RX what it is, takes all of us to pitch in. I know I am going to check you out now just for posting this, I agree, let's not allow anyone to ruin what we got going. I am pissed people are thinking of quitting because of a few bashers on the forums. I can't contribute many winners right now so trying to help in other ways.

Me either Josh, I swear I can't remember anything like this. All we can do is hang in there or quit I guess. I'm totally disgusted but not ready to quit yet. Anyway thanks man, good luck to you as well friend.

Hehe....just playing around as I am sure you were aware Mr Insiders. None the less here is the information you requested. At start of the night I was 107-102, +1.78 units for the season. I will update it tomorrow after all the games tonight are done.

Here is the exact juice and where I played them, I always post them in the tracker forum but will be easy to copy and paste them here as well. I mostly use Pinnacle for the plays here since they don't let us quote exchange prices, unless I note otherwise the number is available at Pinnacle.

WOW PM, I quit (ahead) a little over a week ago. I may go back but I didn't no it got this brutal. When I quit paying attention you and JMan were rolling along, making it look so easy.

My buddy once summed up gambling to me(esp streaks) he said " losing hurts 10x more than winning feels good (sounded better coming from him after 10 beers) " but I think you know what I mean.

It is a grind in EVERY sense of the word. Every day you cap, shop, bet, post, work (some of us have to) and than watch and suffer thru the games only to do it all over agian the next day and the worst thing is it there are NO guarantees and if you do bad enough they take your moneyucking: . To think some of us actually love it. The more I think about it the more I miss ituppy: .

Anyways just thought I would post saying good luck and remember all luck evens out and the more plays you make the more truer your edge comes into play. Remeber one thing my drunk friend said that night " the bookies are like a bank, they are just holding your money until you decide you want it back. Thanks Ice, appreciate it. You are right, I was rolling along right behind you until the bottom fell out. Truthfully though I never claim to be one of the best pure cappers around, even if I get hot again I wouldn't say that. I try to grind out a small profit each year in but rarely if ever will you see me anywhere near the top of the leader board. As you posed the question once, I am a more experienced bettor than a capper. Having said that though I should be doing better than this. Just taking leads and other things you need to stay sharp in order to maximize your edge, no excuse to be going along this clueless. Not throwing it in yet though, when you look again don't be surprised if I got my 20 unit cushion back, LOL.

I like the capping because of the competition, I like to compete even if it's just with myself, probably what started me off on gambling anyway. I get more of a rush by winning a wager I bet based on merit than I do finding a 20 cent scalp somewhere. That is all I used to do when I first got started, bonus whoring, scalping/middling etc....., I didn't begin capping games and trying to win this way until much later in my gambling education. It's still more secondary income than the rest of it. Anyway I am babbling now, look forward to seeing you back in the game soon as well. Peace.

Good things already happening, went 5-2 up in tracker forum tonight. And yes I was very fortunate. I hate guys that always cry about being unlucky yet never admit they got a few breaks. Today I had U9 in Cubs game and it was 8-0 in top of 5th, they never scored another run. Oh well, I'll keep plugging, see you guys tomorrow.
