Plays range from 1 unti to 5 units, but not too many plays are above 4 units

2 unit Arizona -117 with Cruz conditional-
Juan Cruz has been on a roll lately!! In his last 3 games, he has a tough luck 2-1 record. His only loss, he only gave up 2 runs while pitching against Tim Hudson. In his last 2 starts, he has won both games he hasnt given up a single run! Arizona also has a great Home record of 17-9. This one will be easy!! Here are a few trends on why you should like this play:

Diamondbacks are 4-0 in their last 4 games as a home favorite.
Diamondbacks are 3-0 in their last 3 after allowing 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Diamondbacks are 4-0 in their last 4 vs. National League East.
Diamondbacks are 3-0 in their last 3 Tuesday games.
Diamondbacks are 4-0 in their last 4 games vs. a left-handed starter.
Diamondbacks are 3-0 in their last 3 home games with the total set at 9.0-10.5.
Diamondbacks are 3-0 in their last 3 vs. a team with a winning record.
Diamondbacks are 7-0 in their last 7 when their opponent allows 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Diamondbacks are 6-0 in their last 6 after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Diamondbacks are 5-0 in their last 5 games as a favorite.
Diamondbacks are 3-0 in their last 3 games as a favorite of -110 to -150.
Diamondbacks are 5-1 in their last 6 during game 1 of a series.
Diamondbacks are 9-2 in their last 11 home games vs. a team with a winning record.
Diamondbacks are 13-3 in their last 16 home games.
Diamondbacks are 4-1 in their last 5 home games vs. a left-handed starter.
Diamondbacks are 19-7 in their last 26 games with the total set at 9.0-10.5.
Diamondbacks are 23-9 in their last 32 games on Grass.
Diamondbacks are 23-9 in their last 32 overall.
Diamondbacks are 5-2 in their last 7 when their opponent scores 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Diamondbacks are 36-15 in their last 51 night games.
Phillies are 1-5 in their last 6 games as a road underdog.
Phillies are 1-5 in their last 6 during game 1 of a series.
Phillies are 1-6 in their last 7 games as an underdog.

2 unit play Arizona under 9.5 runs-
Mainly based on reasons above for Cruz, but also the Phillies pitcher has an ERA of only 3.18 this season. Here are a few trends for this play:

Under is 3-0-1 in Diamondbacks last 4 Tuesday games.
Under is 3-0-0 in Diamondbacks last 3 after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Under is 7-1-0 in Diamondbacks last 8 when their opponent scores 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Under is 7-1-0 in Diamondbacks last 8 after allowing 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Over is 5-1-1 in Diamondbacks last 7 games as a home favorite.
Under is 4-1-0 in Diamondbacks last 5 vs. a team with a winning record.
Under is 4-1-0 in Diamondbacks last 5 games vs. a left-handed starter.

3 units on St Louis -180 with Carpenter conditional-
Cris Carpenter, enough said!

5 units on San Francisco under 7.5 runs -
Battle between the hottest pitchers on these two teams. Schmidt has an over all ERA of 2.70, but more importantly in his last 3 games his era is a meniscule 1.29. Johnson has been a fantasy league suprise this season with a 4-3 record and an overall ERA of 2.42. But in his last 5 games, his ERA is 1.71. This one will be easy with 4 runs Max scoring!!

4 units on Mets under 7 runs
Battle of 2 of the best pitchers in the National League of late. In Pedro's last 3 starts, his ERA is .82. For the year it is a remarkable 2.50. In Derek Lowe's last 3 games his ERA is .45 and for the year is a 2.68. Now you are NEVER going to find 2 pitchers that have pitched better over their last 3 games than these guys! And it isnt like the Mets or Dodgers have any great hitters to worry about beating you with a grand slam. Look for 1-0 win here for most likely the Mets. I am betting the Mets as well as the under. I would even take this game under if the total were 5.5 runs! I remember about 8 years ago when Greg Maddux used to have totals of 6 or 5.5 posted and you STILL bet the Braves under!! Same applies here!!

Really wanna pull the trigger on the Dbacks...but Hamels could have a field day against all of Zona's lefties. Hope you win it. GL.

Remember Cruz gave up 10 first inning runs to the Padres... his home era obviously sux...just don't know what you are get from him at home...

ditto hamels... could be the next Steve Carlton or could be out of baseball next year with chronic injuries (notorious)...

To me, Zona -Phils IS AN ABSOLUTE FLIP OF THE COIN... edge..Phils....
