I like TORONTO to bounce back here tonight.
They haven't played well on the road this year, but I like them any time they get plus money, at home or away... they have the best offence in the AL, and despite their suspect pitching at times, their bats can keep them in any game - and i'm looking for them to put up a few runs tonight!

T. Taubenheim @ E. Bedard, a mismatch on the mound to be sure, with the edge to BALTIMORE... but...

Toronto has not lost 3 straight this year (excluding interleague play, where they just didnt show up at all),
and currently they've lost 2 straight... In situations where they've lost 2 straight, they are 4-0 SU in the 3rd game and 4-0 to the OVER (4-1 SU and O/U if you count interleague).

Also, in games where TOR has suffered a loss and has scored 4 runs or less in that loss, they are 11-2 SU in the next game and 8-3-2 to the Over (11-4 SU and 8-5-2 O/U including interleague).

On top of all this, the jays have scored at least 7 runs in each of Bedards last 3 starts vs. the jays and the jays won all 3... and we have the #2 and #3 OVER teams in MLB going at it here tonight....

(All lines from Pinny)
JAYS ML (+113) ... 3*
JAYS -1.5 (+170) ... 1*
1st 5 innings ... OVER 6 (+101) ... 2*

I love the Jays, i just dont get the mismatch comment. It seems a lot of people are in love with Bedard, the dude has been brutal this year. I think his first couple of starts where good, but since, he has gotten rocked.

I sort of agree with you too TKE... Bedard has been overrated this year, esp. lately and the jays have certainly had their way with him, but matched up against Taubenheim, who has yet to put in a solid appearace, you have to give the edge to Bedard... I suspect Taubenheim will throw a good one tonight... Hopefully Glaus' absence won't make a big difference for the Jays

3rd one's a charm... i knew i should've layed off the 1st 5 innings total... oh well.. jays blew it in the top of the 1st, runners on 2nd/3rd, no outs, couldn't bring in a run... Edgardo Alfonso is a bag... can't wait till they replace him.. anyone will do.. maybe Aki Berg will be willing to come back to TO to play shortstop... Rios is a king.. nice to see him having a stellar year.. this guy's a keeper!
Bring it home jays!
