Maybe he is out for a while. I'm in a league where the MVP gets $$, who would win if not him?

Good question, and there is no clear cut answer.

I suspect Ryan Howard (who started slow) could still end up with atleast 45 homers, maybe 50 ....the problem is most of the guys having great years in the NL, their teams are not.

Soriano is again having a great season, he will cash in somewhere.

If Webb keeps his ERA at 2 and gets 23-25 wins and AZ wins the pennat i think he'd win it.

Then again i don't know what the chances are of that happening.
Definitely thikn Soriano should be in the running regardless of how my Nats fare

Soriano is hard to ignore, but I think he would have a very hard time winning on that team.

Howard same problem. Hard to win mvp on a 3th place team.

I think whoever wins the NL EAST.

Whoever emerges for the Mets if they win. Wright,Delgedo, maybe even Glavine.

Braves. Andruw Jones

Philly. Howard

I was thinking Webb but that is very unlikely....clearly this is wide open at the moment if it is not Albert.

I'd take Abreu over Howard or Utley if we're picking one from Philly

I'd say Brandon Webb if he keeps pitching as well as he had, Cy Young and MVP

You obviouslly haven't been watching the Phillies this year.

Utlely and RyHow are hitting better than Bobby. Both for average and power. Bobby has about 5 more RBI's that Utley but Utley is batting int he 2 spot. And the Phillies have a leadoff hitter with one of the worst OBPs in the league.

Bobby is a dog in the field. He doesn't run hard after fly balls and is a puss who's afraid to go into the wall to make a play. And Bobby has ARod #s...as in Bobbys stats are inflated by hitting homers and getting RBIs when the Phillies are already winning by a few runs. Besides for the game winning homer vs the Dodgers...Bobby hasn't had a clutch hit this season. He looks to walk first, hit second....even in the clutch.

The reason i pick Utley over RyHow is that Utley is the leader of the team. He hustles. He's clutch (not saying RyHow isnt). He's a better fielder. He'd have better RBI #s if he was batting 3rd or 4th, but he accepted the 2 spot (something Abreau wouldn't do when he was asked to bat lead off....he doesn't want to hurt his personal stats by batting anywhere but the 3 or 4 spot, even if it'll help the team win).
