6-7 / Wednesday. I played these games at Pinnacle, if you wait you might get better numbers than this, might not. My own opinion is the Toronto game for sure is one you definitely should bet now if you like that side, don't think they will get any cheaper than this.

Toronto 108
Boston 123
Bos/NYY U10- (-109)
CWS/Det U8- (+104)

A quick word about the selections - These teams both hit the ball about the same against righties, overall clearly an edge at the plate with the Blue Jays. The edge in starting pitching is what puts me on the play though. Benson has been Benson, just over .500 pitcher with a mid to high 4 ERA. Janssen on the other hand has tons of potential. In over 49 innings he has given up only 37 hits which is outstanding, but what I like about him even more is his control. He knows how to throw strikes, walks less than 1 hitter every 6 innings or so. With a solid offensive team behind him I like to be able to bet on a guy who is going to make the other team beat him. If I played units I would put two on this game.

I am playing Boston because even though Wright has been red hot of late I will take Schilling all day long in this matchup. Yanks have been overcoming their injuries (and I give them props for that) but not as easy when you are facing the Red Sox and a Hall of Famer on the hill. Wright has had trouble with Boston, just 2-4 in his career with a 6.50 ERA. He will need to do better than that with an opponent in the circle like Schilling. Like the other game both teams hit well so no big edge either way, besides starter though with injuries I give Red Sox an edge in the bullpen as well. I got enough here to gamble on the small chalk.

As for the two plays on totals, hell I'm just guessing, I wouldn't play either of those. :toast:

I think you will get + money on Toronto if you wait.

Pretty surprised to see the Schilling line so low.

Really, think they are going to steam the O's side? You might be right, wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. If I can get + money on Toronto though I will play them again tomorrow, I'm hardheaded like that, LOL.

Good luck with your action.

BOL with your selections. I noticed that you seem to be an Under player and now in the Junior Circuit. You do play in the National League as well ??

I don't think there will be too much action overnight on this game (although Toronto is now -105)...but wouldn't be surprised to see Baltimore open as the slight favorite tomorrow (with the -1.5 run line as well).

I think closer to first pitch you will get + money on Toronto. Baltimore is playing well and is a solid home team. Toronto is solid but still a shaky team to back on the road for some reason.

Good luck with your plays.

Thanks for the thoughts Clip, sounds reasonable to me. We'll see how it works out tomorrow.

Insiders - you are very observant, yes I do prefer the "junior circuit" as you call it. On totals I will play some of the NL games but as far as capping a side then I much prefer the AL. One reason is I am just more in tuned with it, live in Tampa and see a lot of the AL teams come through. I think I know them a little better, looking at my record this point could be argued. But also on my computer stuff I don't have the pitchers hitting information accounted for. I know this sounds relatively insignificant but I have nothing offensively to feed into my system for the 9th spot on each NL team. I can do it manually, takes work but most of the time I just stick to the "junior circuit" and the professional hitters they use in spots 1 thru 9. Cheers.

Thanks for the explanation. I noticed that many here stick to the American League. As in most things "to each their own".
BOL to you Always!

Best of luck to you as well Insiders. Adding two more plays for tomorrow:

Atl/Wash U9 (-120) CRIS
SF/Fla U8- (-111) Pinnacle

That gives me six for the day. Don't forget we got early games....

After Tuesday (I went 3-3) my updated record going into Wednesday is:

YTD 115-107, +5.51 units

Will be trying like hell to improve on that. Good night all.

Adding two late ones since we had 2 games scratched:

Cincy U9 (+100) BOS
Tex/KC U10 (+105) 5Dimes

What a start to the day, Florida hits 2 run homer in 9th to make me lose under play by a 1/2 run. I was watching and there was two quick outs, they walk one guy and them BOOM, fatass is in the loser side of the column. GGRRRrrrr......

No Griffey for Cincy tonight should help that under. Like most of the card but against you on the white sox total. Verlander has a blister on his pitching hand. Dont expect him to go deep into that game.

Good luck with the rest.

Thanks TN, I'm kind of wishing I didn't play that CWS under now. Besides the blister my buddy claims Contreras has lost a lot of his fastball and is not near as effective as he was before surgery. I didn't realize that. Oh well, going to ride it now, you never know in this game. Good luck with your action sir.

I'll take it, 4-2 for the night, +1.98 units. Actually went 5-3, added two plays in tracker forum I forgot to add here that split, but the units are the same either way. If Marlins don't hit that 2 run 2 out homer in 9th inning it would have been really nice day. Maybe mixing it up down in the baseball forums with you sharp guys is helping me out. Still long way to go but up over 7 units now, could be worse the way this season is going.

See you guys tomorrow, got Schilling and with an extra days rest he should be even tougher. Cheers!

Great job today.

I was looking pretty smart when Toronto got down to -102 with 2 minutes before 1st pitch...then they got steamed right back up to -106. I got down on some at -102. :toast:

I will be all over Schilling tomorrow as well but I am pissed because the line is now set after it got hit. I got down early at -124 I believe last night and was feeling really good about myself.

I also hope Wright is still on the mound for the Yankees. My bet is as much fading him as it is backing Schilling.

Good luck tomorrow...great job today. :toast:

LOL, yeah I was watching that Blue Jay line, neither one of was entirely right. I thought for sure I could have bought back for a profit had I wanted to before the game went off. Never did steam up though nor quite make it to + money, stayed about the same or as you say dipped down a little bit. Either way you got the better price so I give you the decision.

Red Sox game sucked huh? I was in at -123 myself, LOL. We both knew that one would move our way. I think with Schilling on an extra days rest will help us even more, cost me -130 to get back on it but still like it at that price. Thanks Clip, lets get them tomorrow sir.
