6-7 / Wednesday. I played these games at Pinnacle, if you wait you might get better numbers than this, might not. My own opinion is the Toronto game for sure is one you definitely should bet now if you like that side, don't think they will get any cheaper than this.
Toronto 108
Boston 123
Bos/NYY U10- (-109)
CWS/Det U8- (+104)
A quick word about the selections - These teams both hit the ball about the same against righties, overall clearly an edge at the plate with the Blue Jays. The edge in starting pitching is what puts me on the play though. Benson has been Benson, just over .500 pitcher with a mid to high 4 ERA. Janssen on the other hand has tons of potential. In over 49 innings he has given up only 37 hits which is outstanding, but what I like about him even more is his control. He knows how to throw strikes, walks less than 1 hitter every 6 innings or so. With a solid offensive team behind him I like to be able to bet on a guy who is going to make the other team beat him. If I played units I would put two on this game.
I am playing Boston because even though Wright has been red hot of late I will take Schilling all day long in this matchup. Yanks have been overcoming their injuries (and I give them props for that) but not as easy when you are facing the Red Sox and a Hall of Famer on the hill. Wright has had trouble with Boston, just 2-4 in his career with a 6.50 ERA. He will need to do better than that with an opponent in the circle like Schilling. Like the other game both teams hit well so no big edge either way, besides starter though with injuries I give Red Sox an edge in the bullpen as well. I got enough here to gamble on the small chalk.
As for the two plays on totals, hell I'm just guessing, I wouldn't play either of those. :toast:
