"THE NUTS"

I must have read this 10x the last few days. I just can't stand it when a guy tries to sound like he knows whats going on, sounds phony (IMO).

Even though I could pass for mid-upper 20's(and am still pretty cool IMO :dancefool

), nothing bothers me more than a guy trying to act like he is still college. Right, DUDE (another word I can't stand and won't use. Never have, never will.)

Can you use the phrase in a sentence? I don't think I've heard that phrase used that much here in Jacksonville.

But saying "Hey Brah" is pretty annoying for sure.

"The Nuts" I am sure has come from the poker boom. This term has been around the poker world for thirty some years that I know about. Probably longer than that.

Yeah the nuts has been around poker for many years. When you got the absolute best hand then you got "the nuts". Not sure I have used it outside the poker room but I am guilty of saying it in past.

its not about being old. Even when I was younger (34 now). I never really got into it. I think I use the word "man" a little too much but just have always tried to be normal and not ACT like I was trying to sound cool.

Same thing with clothes, earrings, tattoos, etc... Never gave into the "peer" pressure of it.

Now when I think about the guys i have hung out with are just like me. If we thought someone was trying to sound or act or dress a little different than we are(esp like someone you only saw on TV but never around our town) we always put them in their place.
