3-3 (-3.28 units) yesterday
113-121 (-18.85 units) overall

first losing night with my new goofy system. i am not going to complain though. if i would have gone with my traditional thoughts and picks on those very same games, i would have still lost, for the night almost as much. the dogs definitely help. to lose a little over three units and drop both my top plays is not too bad, i can live with that. i am not going to give this up, it works.

arizona (whatever line is when it comes out) vs phillies (3 units)...............phillies win game one vs webb, phils destroy zona in game two. now we get ryan madson pitching who has done well recently vs somebody i never heard of throwing for arizona. the way the phils are playing right now, and arizona struggling all of a sudden, this should be another blowout. am i right or what? no, i am not. zona will find a way to win this game. i suspect that arizona will be a dog in this game, they should be anyway, but even if they are the favs, i am still taking them. if arizona comes out as a 150 favorite or higher, this is a no play.

dodgers +111 vs mets (3 units)....................mets and pedro lost last night. there is no way the dodgers are going to beat pedro and glavine on back to back nights. this is a lock i tell you, an absolute lock. did i say lock? i better switch that to the dodgers.

milwaukee -103 vs san diego (2 units)..............i used to fall for these all the time. C H Park is 7-0 career vs milwaukee and he is pitching against Z Jackson, whoever that is. you don't have to lay a fortune to get park either, this can't lose, even if it does, how can you pass it up. i used to be a sucker, not any more. give me milwuakee.

washington +1.5 (-114) vs atlanta (2 units)..................i am taking the runline in this one, i like the comfort of getting 1.5 runs in case atlanta wins a one run game and i only have to lay 114. here is another one of those games that seems to good to be true. atlanta has smoltz pitching and i almost always take smoltz when he pitches. he is 16-7 career vs washington while ortiz has never beaten the braves. atlanta does not lose games like this at home very often, but i know if i jumped all over them today, they would lose, sort of like the st louis did getting pounded with carpenter on the mound yesterday at home.

cincinnati -117 vs st louis (1 unit)................you would have to be goofy not to take st louis as a home dog. you all know that i am goofy.

tampa bay +145 vs angels (1 unit)...........many people thought tampa bay would have their best chance last night with their best pitcher throwing, heck they were even favorites in that game. if the angels beat Kazmir last night, they should have no trouble with todays pitcher, at least that is what you would think. watch and see if today pitcher McClung (2-7, 6.21), does not throw the gem that last nights pitcher was supposed to do. i know, it does not make any sense at all.

well i am done confusing everybody for another day, i think i even confused myself today.

good luck everybody!!
