The best I can do in my immediate surronding area is 95 cent 16oz pints during happy hour with an occassional FREE pint thrown my way by the barmaid.

Hows about you people?

In Canada $4 pints are considered a bargain typically just over $5. Ridiculous when you consider people earn peanuts here.

Back in Iowa City they used to have NICKEL beer night on Thursdays at a place I frequented regularly (of course).

Around town, there are a few places you can get $2 pints but your are paying for the atmosphere.
The places I go it's usually $5.75 for a Heineken or Stella. $5 for something local.

It was popular with construction workers, well out in the boonies of the strip south of Trop. Early 90's so it was a ways down there. It encouraged drunk driving for sure.

Dollar beers at some HH's around town.
When I was in college, there was a place called Graham Central Station-it was 5 horrible clubs inside one huge horrible club-but on Friday nights they used to have 50 cent Crown and we used to pound!
It was actually 50 cent anything really after a $5 cover.
Strangely enough, I heard they closed earlier this year.:icon_conf :icon_conf :icon_conf
