How about stop showing Bonds' stats for the game and putting "Chasing Aaron" next to it. He's never going to get there and even so no one really gives a damn. I hate seeing it go by on the ticker everytime.

Or how about what color dye she uses for her hair?? It's so unaturally red.

El Jefe, i thought it was just me, not only are the Giants first but they include a novel in the scroll, just give me the damn scores, I don't care if Bonds is 6-12 in his career against Joe Blow with 8 walks and 5 strikeouts.

There is no one I can't stand at ESPN more than Rachel Nichols. I'm convinced she doesn't write her own copy. She just reads whatever is written on the teleprompter. Here's the bottom line, Diane Sawyer, her mother has mega juice at ABC. Mike Nichols and Diane Sawyer are the Washington power couple. ABC owns ESPN so they call the shots. What's really brutal is now that competent female reporters like Andrea Kremer have left ESPN Nichols is going to be featured heavy on shows like Sunday NFL Countdown and all the Monday programming for MNF. No matter how many people complain she will never lose her job at ESPN. ABC cannot afford to lose or anger Diane Sawyer.

I'm glad it's not just me either. If the Giants are playing that day, their score always comes first even if Bonds is not in the lineup. Then the CHASING RUTH and CHASING AARON crap follows. No one cares!@!

Erin Andrews is one of the best out there. I absolutely predict that she will be the Monday Night Football sideline reporter at some point in her career. She's pretty into the college sport scene but I figure she'd fit into the MNF role real well.

as for ESPN

NONE OF YOU HAVE A CLUE what goes on behind the scenes. if you did you would shit the largest bricks in the world - trust me on this one. the 10 months i was there was a real ete opening experience and that was 15 years ago

i you REALLY wanna know about ESPN get Michael Freeman's GREAT book on it - about 5-isyh years ago. THE BEST book i have read on ESPN - really gets to the nuts and bolts behind the scenes
