What type of job/company do you RX posters work for and what is your position?

Im in college right now and debating on whether I should keep my sports administration major or switch it to business admin.....Starting salary in sports, even professional, is only about 25,000-30,000$$$!!!!

Any Ideas?

stock broker now i think i am a financial consulant new title same job.

To the gentleman who asked about sports adm vs business adm,Everybody wants to be in sports thusthey have 20,000 people comppeating for 10 jobs so salarys tend to be low. would think business adm wluld open up more fields including sports. if you wish to chat about it i would be glad to. email is elbokas@aol.com I am a grey beard if that means anything to you. regards bob kass

I'm responsible the processing orders for stocks, bonds, gic's etc that are sold by the financial advisors. It's not that tough - I'm just doing it for my work term.

Low 30's to start

Sounds like what I used to do with mutual fund accounting. Trained monkey work at best. I'm glad to not be dealing with GICs and wraps anymore though. Especially depending on who was writing it.

So how much do financial advisors make FLAMES??

It all depends - the firm I work with you start around $55k for the first year, then after that you get a % of your book.

Yeah that's true - as long as you have some basic financial knowledge about different types of securities and the industry, it's not tough
