This is the 3rd time in his career that he has had to make major adjustments to his game to make up for his declining skills. He just keeps reinventing himself. Maybe the most crafty pitcher and smartest pitcher ever.

He will breeze to the HOF, and become the last modern era pitcher to win 300 games.

Mets fans have had trouble accepting Glavine as a "true" Met for years. I guess that's to be expected when the enemy comes over to your team and, worst of all, is ineffective.

Things have changed this year, however. This is the year Tom Glavine has truly become a Met.

mr. glavine would've liked you to save your praise for him after the game. Boy did he get rocked in that inning.

I tried to make an UNDER bet and the game went off the board when I tried to confirm...wow. Luck is on my side tonight...I also had Texas.

GETS HIS 2500th career strike out this evening.

ONE OF ONLY 29 pitchers to accomplish this feat.

HOF?

Maddux is twice as smart as Glavine

and that's not a knock on Glavine
that's just how smart Maddux is

Maddux is the smartest pitcher in the history of baseball
he also needs to retire, not sure what it will take to get him out of the game, but he is about 1/4th the pitcher he was 10 years ago.

I saw a story somewhere where Tom, Greg, and John are maybe thinking about all retiring at the end of the season so they can all go to the HOF together.

I'm sure they'll all wait for Chip to join them.

Have you changed your assessment of the likelihood of A. Jones joining them?

Don't think he has and wondering why he hasn't bought up the name of the Saints football player who was indicted for murder yesterday....:ohno:
