5* Ole Miss -150
The Rebels almost got to the CWS last year, but had to face Texas, the eventual Champion, in the Super Regional and lost 1-2. This year they are hosting again, and sticking to the tradition of playing teams with tradition, will play Miami. Ordinarily I would love Miami in a dog situation, but Ole Miss is very intent on winning this series, and they have the talent to do so. They are playing the best baseball of the entire year, and have won 11 of the last 12, roaring through the SEC Tournament as well as the regional. Sophomore Will Kline will pitch in the opening game, and he has nasty stuff. He's the guy that Ole Miss hitters have least enjoyed facing during the practice the last couple of years. The Rebels can hit throughout the order. In fact, 8-hole hitter Mark Wright set a new SEC record by driving in 13 runs in the 4 games in the SEC Tournament. 3B Chris Coghlan was taken by the Marlins with the 36th pick of the draft, and sophomore SS Zack Cozart is just as good. With all respect to Miami, these Rebels are a very sound team right now, and they should play their way into the CWS this time around.

1* Missouri +540
Gotta take a chance on these guys at this number. $100 risked can win $540, and Missouri has as good of a chance of winning the Super Regional as they did the regional.

These are all the series I am going with. I will probably throw some individual plays as the games go on, probably including the first Ole Miss game where we should get a decent price going against Miami's #1 Scott Maine.

Yo Reb! Good to see you posting. I am working on this Ole Miss series right now, and I know you are either an alum or huge fan so I wanted some insight from the Ole Miss perspective. I agree entirely with the Ole Miss pick, and the Missouri pick. Good luck in the cws.

Always enjoy your perspective and insightful write-ups, Boxslayer. I'll be watching you closely regarding games I know little about.

I love the opener of the Ole Miss/Miami series.

Game 1: 5* Ole Miss -125
Ole Miss position players are as good as anyone in the country, with recruiting classes ranking in the top 10 over the last 4 years. Young pitching staff has grown up over the course of the season. Scott Maine from Miami is a good one, but I'll go with Will Kline and the Rebels in the opening game.

My play on Ole Miss is a legit play that will not be played -- the game or the series -- until Saturday, when I will not be here. Therefore, for anyone who might find it interesting, I will push it to the top once more.

I bet very few college baseball games, but sometimes when I know both teams I can see an advantage. I have a good record on cbb posted plays here over the last few years.

I'll be sure to bump this one more time.

For those who dont know, Reb is a good capper in a lot of sports, and thats no different for college baseball. While I was posting Locks of the Millenium last year and running away with the hype show, NYReb quietly put together a solid season.

If you can't tell from his name, he's either an alumni or huge fan of Ole Miss, and knows his team , and the SEC very well.

Thanks for the kind words, Boxslayer. I appreciate it.

Wow, that was an exciting game, but the bottom line is we win.

Another win and we win the series as well.

Don't bet against the Rebs.
