Don't hear to much about this book and currently considering trying them out maybe. How about a rate/review from players that have tried them out or currently playing there. Would like to know what they are all about. Thanks.

they are ok. they have been around for a long time, and if you are a small player, the -105 juice is a good deal. some people obviously dont feel comfortable with them because of the gary austin association, but they are i would recommend them as a quality 2nd tier out.

Thanks for responding. A few quick questions:

1) Are you telling me 105 is not a good deal for a bigger player, or do they book rec action only?

2) What is the Gary Austin association, is he a shady character?

Thanks.

i believe the -105 has small limits. up to 300 i believe, but not sure. the gary austin association dates back to when austin owned a casino in vegas. some of the older posters know more about this, but essentially he stiffed a lot of gamblers in vegas because he said his casino was robbed?? supposedly, austin has ownership in tradewinds, although others will say he does marketing and refers players there. anyways, the tradewind family has a large stable of books, and they are one of the original offshore books. also, there are supposedly a lot of "whales" that play at tradewinds. again, i recommend playing with them, but again, they are a secondary out for me.

Ok, yeah I remember reading something about that previously now that I think about it more. Thanks.

I have never played there because I do not like their 90 day funds must remain there rule.

Most books I stick with for years, but if I hear something bad is going down or if I happen to get too much money in one place, I like the ability to move it.

I'll go with books that require a month, but 90 days is too long for me - I've managed to end up with 8 times my balance at one book and none at 7 books before.

Anyways, I have heard they are solid and their 10% interest is pretty nice...

I've played there for probably 7 years and they are a solid book that pays fast. They pay me 10% apy each month on the ending monthly balance. They have decent lines. Will have some slow moving lines in football, and are sometimes the best out for me. I would recommend them as a top 10 book. About 9 or 10 on my list.

Does taking a bonus at one of these books exempt you from bonuses at others? Are multiple accounts allowed throughout the group?

I'm playing at tradewinds right now under a 60 day hold but just got an attractive offer in the mail from gardian guaranty.

Thanks.

They wait a while to put lines up. Kind of slow. Low limits too. But decent book for sure. Definite your 2nd or more book....not primary

Played a little bit with them a couple years back...no real problems, but nothing to recommend either. Basically, better books out there IMO
