for me hands down it's College Basketball. Just don't follow anymore. I don't know the players. From a gambling standpoint I had a GREAT year there but from pure entertainment it is the worst of the 5 (still not bad).

No NHL on the list??

I'd have to say NBA. I love all sports but lately its kinda hard to tolerate at times because of lack of fundamentals and the WWE style refereeing.

Hockey...

Although hockey is a great sport to watch in person...just sucks on TV IMO

NBA basketball is the worst, the officiating is an absolute joke. Not fixed, just terrible.

From a gambling perspective, baseball. I love baseball, I love the strategy of every pitch, but I can't pick a winner in MLB to save my life.:smoking:

wasn't one of my choices. If it was it would be a landslide winner. That's why I didn't include it.

MLB - soooooooo boring....

and it doesn't help that I don't handicap well enough to make a profit at it, so I never have a reason to even pay attention unless my hometown is in the thick of the playoff hunt.

Hockey is awesome live, but my own son would have to play for me to really enjoy it on TV.

Soccer is similar. My daughter, age 8, plays soccer, and before her games, while she's warming up with her team, I watch some local adult league play on an adjoining field. They're pretty good, and I'm telling you, it's a lot of action. Speed, hard hits, it's really very intense.

The combination of having my daughter play soccer, which I really get into of course, and watching these guys from close up has given me a whole new appreciation for the sport. Like anything else, you need to have an emotional "in"...so to speak.

Still, I have trouble with college sports because there's just so many teams and players--I just can't get that emotional "in."

So many sports, so little time....

The NBA is totally unwatchable for me. The final two minutes of every game takes forever with commercial breaks. There are no rules, and I'd even question whether it was "influenced" by the refs, especially during the playoffs.

My sentiments exactly, as I cruise the forums while watching Miami/Dallas on the tube :103631605
