I Have a Dream

I have a dream that one day...this forum will live in harmony.

A forum that is not just about individuals posting picks, senseless bashing of others and their picks, "WTF is wrong with (name of a closer)" threads, and hopeless "rally threads".

I have a dream that one day the "guess the lines" thread will consist of more than 3 posters contributing to its ongoing discussion of baseball and moneylines...i know, what a WEIRD combo!

I have a dream that one day this forum will have a thread for every game (ex. Braves vs. Astros (6/9)) where posters can post any relevent info on that game and not necessarily just try to make a pick for that game right away...but try to analyze the info and try to discuss what the best selection might be.

I feel this forum would be better if we concentrated on what is important...beating the bookies, which involves analyzing the FREAKING games...not bashing each other. :toast:

So what do you guys/gals think? am i crazy?

your not crazy at all. ive been around for awhile now and at one time it was that way here.but gambling and capping tends to tear people down and they move on and live real lives.anytime you get a mix of older experienced cappers with younger more brash cocky cappers terse words will be flying. no one respects experience anymore.this place can be a goldmine of information for younger cappers with a thirst to learn.

Public forums can be tough- as you see. A lot of bashing really can bring it down.

Start up some threads about each individual game and include as much info as possible- or create a seperate side forum w/ all games listed and info etc..

I am one of those young cappers looking to learn. I would like the "experienced" cappers to look at my threads and tell me if I'm analyzing the games from the wrong angle or not? This is my first week of ever betting baseball; hence, I'm getting murdered; hence, my thread is lonely.
