I saw a reporter on TV talk about how down the Cardinals locker room is right now and that the team lacks chemistry at the moment.

Jorge de la Rosa is the unproven Left-handed starter for Milwaukee. His career K/BB is only 1.06 which is piss poor.

The Cardinals will be playing after a day off...but after getting swept at home against the Reds. Making it clear that they are average, at best without Pujols.

The line opened at Cardinals -142, but has steadily dropped since 70% of the public has wagered on the Brewers and is currently at -135.

The over/under is at 10u-116 which seems about right, considering the circumstances. The best value may lie in this line upon further review....

What do u like? the over or the under? I personally wanted to bet the Brewers but then decided to cant trust De la Rosa for anything.

My first instint without any research is the Cardinals / Under ... but like all MLB this season, I haven't flipped my coin yet, so don't know which side I'm leaning. It is amazing how this season has suspended the betting actions of a lot of faithful Rx'ers. Even my good buddy who is a sports betting fanatic is probably calling MLB quits until football. Probably should've picked a better season to start making MLB picks for the first time in my life.

i found the lines i made for this game in the "guess the lines quiz"...

Stl -143 ...... 9.5 ov +115
Mil +135 ...... 9.5 un -125

the logic behind the total was that with Pujols in the line-up...the total should result in a 9.5 ov -112 range...but with him out, i took off about a half a point.

the under 9.5 +102 looks the most appetizing in this case...

i will probably pass on this game all together...i am trying to establish a new kind of post for this forum to consider though (one that discusses the lines without any particular bias towards a certain side at first). it may be better to have one thread consisting of analysis of all of the games/lines though.
