SSI's Runline System: Plays for friday

Just want to say, that ive took a couple of days off this week, to review some old notes from the beginning of this season. I had a R/L system that showed alot of promise, then begin to fizzle. The system reached a high of (+82 units), then begin to drop. I stopped charting it, when the record hit 118-47 (+29.03 units)... I then wandered around this MLB season and now find myself down ($1183) on the season.. Not too bad, as my bankroll is big enough to handle this drawdown without too much trouble.. But for me its about more than the money (as i merely do this on the side for some extra income), i do not like to lose at anything.. i feel as if ---no one or nothing--will outwork me..

Now in saying that, im going to go back to a modified version of the runline system, and this will be my LAST effort of this MLB season.. Im prepared to risk another $5,000 (50 units) on this system and i have this at pinnacle sports.. This will be played in a 1-2-4 unit progression and if there is a 4 game set, game 4 will be played for 4 units also, if necessary... Thats just how im setting this up and im prepared to see this through, "win or lose" but just with the $5,000.. If that goes, then i go (until football)...

Without saying anything else, ill get to todays plays.. and ill list every thread in this manner...

this is not a "do-over", as my yearly record is clearly posted and will remain that way, so im not trying to fool anyone..

all plays are with listed pitchers, for one unit today (risking $100) and all plays are laying (-1.5 runs).. Series have been handicapped by me, so its not a strict 100% mechanical system. I am playing some home and some away teams,, as well as skipping some series altogether..

I feel as though this system, showed tremendous potential and we are going to find out, or i will lose my $5,000 and rest until football..

SSI....i read your system way back when you began it and followed it for a little bit. Yes it did show some promise and i originally made some cash, but then it started to drop off. Well, i basically came up with something pretty close to what u were doing and it seems to show some promise, as i have made some pretty good units on it the last 2-3 weeks.

I am picking every home team in a series to win at least one game by -1.5 runs in a 1-2-3 progression. So, lets say, the first game of a 3 game series, atlanta wins the first game 5-2, i am done with that game and stop betting on that. If the home team doesnt cover the first game by -1.5 runs, i bet 2 units on them on game two...and so on and so on.

I figured most of the time (need to backtrack this and research it) home teams will win at least 1 game of a 3 game series if they are at home and that win is usually by more than 1.5 runs.

Like i said, been doing this the last 3 weeks and i have made some pretty good money so far....but im gonna start really tracking it now and post my record

SSI, what changes are you making. I too have made changes and went through the same downturn. I stopped posting my plays b/c frankly, I didn't want anyone following me into the abyss and the results were awful. Fortunately I am up about 10 units this week.

Let me know the changes. The changes I have made are to basically look at each series, discard ones I can see both teams not covering and selecting the teams I think are "locks" (I know, nothing is) to win at least one game by 2 runs, whether home or road.
