Record update later (I have to find my record first lol, that will take some time). Haven't been posting much but wanted to share some thoughts on tonight's game.

Chicago White Sox ML
Here's the lineup my White Sox will be using tonight...
Pods-LF
Ozuna-3B
Thome-DH
Konerko-1B
Dye-RF
AJ-C
Iguchi-2B
Uribe-SS
Anderson-CF

Personally, I really like it when Pods and Ozuna hit back to back, though I honestly prefer it to be as the #9 and #1 hitters and not the #1 and #2. Either way these two speedsters are leading off tonight and if either of them can get on it will be hell for Indians catcher Victor Martinez who is known for having trouble gunning runners down. Iguchi moving down the order was discussed in ST and experimented with but it didn't work very well. He's been in a bit of a slump lately so perhaps this changeup will help him break out of it. Make no mistake, the guy can hit, and I do feel comfortable having him down there, sort of as protection near Uribe and Anderson batting.

The White Sox overall on the year don't hit LHP's that great but for some reason they can definitely tee off on Cliff Lee. Even last year when Lee had a great season he was getting beaten up by the ChiSox. The one guy that doesn't have that impressive of a statline against Lee is Thome who is 1-7 against him I believe. If it was Crede or Uribe with that stat I'd agree it could continue, but imho Thome is too good a hitter to get owned that badly.

Vazquez this year has pitched very good and has done extremely well against two teams so far, Kansas City and Cleveland. He's 2-0 in 2 games started against the Tribe and has given up 8 hits and ZERO earned runs, 1 run was scored off an error. Sizemore, Hafner, and Martinez are each hitting just .125 against Vazquez so far. Hopefully Javier keeps it going tonight.
