Good luck man. I am debating whether or not to play your Nats on back to back days. I like the way they are playing and think Livan is going to eat up some innings today and start pitching better.

The only thing that concerns me is the bullpen after using up all of their arms last night. If Livan doesn't work into the 7th/8th, it could be trouble.

Any thoughts?

Sorry Clip, just saw this post...I stayed away from the game alltogether simply because of the bullpens. Here we are in the 7th and the game might be far from over. Livan pitched great, though. Great performances by both pitchers for teams who desperately needed them.

I'm on them and the A's...wow. Talk about 2 teams that would be killing you so far this year if you backed them consistently. I think both are going to be cash cows for a month or so.

2 run HR...that sucks.

I feel good that they let Livan give it up though. They rode the horse till he ran out of gas. Still a great outing.

Hopefully Philly's bullpen is gassed from last night and we can get one back and tie this sucker up.

Frank has a short leash with every pitcher EXCEPT Livan. He'll let the guy pitch till his arm falls off almost every time. Great performance though, even with the HR...but Rauch is garbage. I actually like him, but he's not a very good reliever.

The error killed the Nats. I think they still had a shot if they get the out and finish off the top half of the inning only down a run.

Agreed. Hopefully they can seal the series W tomorrow, though. I'll gladly take 3 of 4.
