It's not like Mussina is a dominant cy young caliber starter and Sarloos is at least half way decent, not like he's a gas can. With the Yankee offense banged up this line seems to be way off here IMO and worth taking shot on Oakland at these prices. Even +1.5 is a +110'ish line. Thoughts?

The line is pretty accurate Yankees got all there top guys in the lineup Damon, Jeter, Giambi, A-Rod, Posada, Cano. Oakland is somewhat banged up Chavez has missed a few games with back spasms, Crosby is out with a finger injury, Bradley just got off the DL. Then when you factor in the pitching matchup Mussina has been dominating this year, he has the most quality starts in the Majors every start he has gone 6+ innings and only one time has given up more than 4 runs. Saarloos has been rough on the road 7.59 ERA, 1.92 whip and has bad success against NY in his young career. Pitching matchup is the main reason for lines like these and IMO this is a significant mismatch.

Jeter is hurting. Chavez is playing. Sarloos looking good. Mussina laboring. A's up 2-0 early. Could be the biggerst gift from the bookies all year thus far. Can't see how one could pass up that value. Squares on Yankees.

Very inflated line and I have Oakland. The problem is I am having a pretty tough week so I chickened out and didn't put a full unit on it. The A's had more value than anyone on the board today.

The A's very well could get blown out by 10 runs and it wouldn't surprise me...but I think they win this matchup at least 33% of the time (enough to be profitable in the long run).
