Pretty interesting matchup here. Argentina is one of the favourites and the Ivory Coast is the best african team. This will be a close one.

I expekted the game (Sweden) to go under 2.5 goals. Sweden had pretty bad results in their last matches but this game here is too close to call.

I am taking over 2.5 in this one. I hope the African goalie plays like an African goalie.

friendly prediction:

Aregentina 2, Ivory Coast 1

Argentina has a huge advantage in midfield, about even on the other lines

If I remember right Tizie made some big mistakes during the African Cup of Nations.
1 TIZIE Jean-Jacques
Veteran Jean-Jacques Tizie is Côte d’Ivoire’s leader on and off the pitch. The experienced goalkeeper was instrumental in the Elephants’ successful qualifying campaign for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™. A former handball goalkeeper, Tizie combines superb reflexes and ball-handling skills with a strong competitive spirit. During the 2006 African Cup of Nations he played in five matches, including the final where he could not prevent the defeat against Egypt on penalties.

Argentina stays just 8 kms away from where I life. They are staying in Herzogenaurach (20 kms away from Nuernberg, company headquarters of Adidas and Puma).

They are in a very pretty hotel. They are using the Adidas stadium and the field of a local school as their training facility.

Man, everyone should be rooting for the Ivory Coast after that whole situation with their civil war...so cool.
