After 3 games at <st1lace w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Kansas City</st1:City></st1lace>, the Devil Rays are going to play the Tigers on Monday June 12<sup>th</sup>, beginning a series with a game that will be hard to win.

Changes are coming to the Rays' rotation, manager Joe Maddon said. Hoping to go out with a different perspective if they want to win; game 1; it’s not going to be easy not after coming from playing at <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Los Angeles</st1lace></st1:City> against the Angels. Shields has pitched in his two starts and has earned a chance to stay which could mean Seth McClung or Doug Waechter could be headed to the bullpen or to Triple-A Durham. <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Tampa</st1lace></st1:City> is moving, while they need to over-come the 24- 34 games won against the lost games stats they have.

An exam June 1 found bone chips in the elbow, and he had surgery on June 2 that will sideline him for two to three months.
