After 3 games at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Kansas City</st1:City></st1:place>, the Devil Rays are going to play the Tigers on Monday June 12th, beginning a series with a game that will be hard to win.

Changes are coming to the Rays' rotation, manager Joe Maddon said. Hoping to go out with a different perspective if they want to win; game 1; it’s not going to be easy not after coming from playing at <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Los Angeles</st1:place></st1:City> against the Angels. Shields has pitched in his two starts and has earned a chance to stay which could mean Seth McClung or Doug Waechter could be headed to the bullpen or to Triple-A Durham. <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Tampa</st1:place></st1:City> is moving, while they need to over-come the 24- 34 games won against the lost games stats they have.

Detroit Tigers after playing a very good series against the White Sox’s, which was expected due that the 2 teams are at the top of the American League,; playing against each other is nothing less than good baseball. Now heading the Devil Rays at home, this is an advantage.

They have great stats, 37 wins over 20 losses, but after a heavy series against <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Chicago</st1:place></st1:City>, going to <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Toronto</st1:place></st1:City>, could affect them now. Any way both teams are coming from being visitors. Detroit LHP Mike Maroth went on the disabled list May 26 due to left elbow pain. An exam June 1 found bone chips in the elbow, and he had surgery on June 2 that will sideline him for two to three months.

Line up: 1. Curtis Granderson, CF. 2. Marcus Thames, DH. 3. Ivan Rodriguez, 1st B. 4. Magglio Ordonez, RF. 5. Carlos Guillen, SS. 6. Craig Monroe, LF. 7. Brandon Inge, 3rd B. 8. Ramon Santiago, 2nd B. 9. Vance Wilson, C.
