Washington -120
CWS -121

Italianole, I just decided to respond to your question from yesterday's thread in this one instead of bumping the other. I totally understand your hesitation with betting on the Nats tonight...they also haven't been favored too often this season, and when they have they haven't fared too well(if memory serves). Also, most of the trends seem to point against them tonight, as well as the under.

Having said that, I still like the Nats to win...I'll ride 'em while they're hot. Two teams headed in opposite directions, although I wouldn't be surprised if Francis pitches well tonight. Still, at this #, it's worth a play.

Quick note on the CWS play: the line is plummeting as we speak, not exactly sure why. Literally dropped from -125 to -119 in a matter of minutes. Not sure what's going on, but oh well. I'm gonna venture a guess that maybe Thome's out? Either him or Contreras...in which case it'd be a no-play because he's listed currently. We'll see what happens, I still like the ChiSox at this # unless Contreras is out.

Thanks for the response raj. I decided to play them last night and seeing you on them as well is a good sign for me. GL.

Looking good early! :toast:

Jose Guillen sure makes this lineup look more dangerous.

glad to see you on CWS as well. Also glad I got the line on pinny last night, and was also wondering why it dropped so fast today.

Just got home and saw these...thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it.

Hopefully the ChiSox can hold on. As for the Nats, Ramon's gotten a bit erratic the past two innings, although the last run was scored on a broken bat hit.

Nats' bats look dead right now, though. Not even making Francis work right now. We'll see what happens. GL to all you guys as well.

Tried to edit, but the time expired...Helton comes through with two outs, hits a seeing-eye single up the middle after Stanton let Sullivan steal 2nd(he left BEFORE Stanton even made a move to the plate, but he didn't notice). Just isn't the Nats night, this deficit will be tough to overcome. Oh well.

It is a given...if I bet on the Nats, their bullpen goes to shit. Happens everytime.

They go to the pen...a stolen base and 3 straight hits before they record the 3rd out.

haha pretty much, you're the worst jinx, Clip. I'm gonna beat your ass one of these days.

Nats haven't gotten a hit since the 4th inning. I'll be surprised if they rally. Hopefully CWS holds on, though.

What a shocker...Soriano up in a key situation...strikeout.

He was batting .217 with runners in scoring position and 2 outs heading into that at bat...beautiful.

Worked it to a 3-0 count, too...then was just given the green light. Everyone in the stadium knew he was trying to tie it up and was going to swing at anything...which he did. Must've fouled off about three pitches well outside the strike zone before finally going down.

You take the bad with the good with him, my man. He'll make up for it.

The problem is, the good always comes in meaningless situations when pitchers are challenging him. His next clutch hit will be his first.

Not gonna be enough...Byrd's about to get mowed down. He looks overmatched.

OH SHIT

OH MY GOODNESS...Byrd inches away from a HR. Fuck. Foul ball.

I had an erection for about 2 seconds. Now it's back to tic-tac size.

I prematurely ejaculated...bastards.

Then again, at some point tonight I would've prematurely ejaculated anyway, so it doesn't really matter. Oh well.

Hopefully the Nats game win the next three and take another home series. Sorry they couldn't get it done for ya tonight.
