Another interesting match today. Imo the USA is overrated. They did not face any real opponents in their qualification. On the other hand the Czech Republic became a real force in the past year. A player to watch is Koller. This guy could easily be a basketball player. In the midfield they have Nedved and Rosicky.
I am taking Czech Republic -0.5 and over 2 goals in this clash.

I am 9-2 with my WC bets so far. Not bad imo.

I have a team tournament ticket 7 for Ecuador. It was the onliest one available at the time I booked my tickets. Germany was sold out immediately. I am more than happy that they play in our group. I sold Ecuador-Poland and Ecuador - CR.
I will be at Germany - Ecuador in Berlin. In stage two I will either follow Ecuador or in case they are out (hopefully) the winner of the group. In case Ecuador will get to stage two (hopefully not) I will sell the tickets for the next two stages and only attend the semifinal and final. My dream is that Germany wins the group and either Poland or CR will be in second (but that will not happen anymore due to the reult of the first games). Poland will be out of the tourney after the second match against Germany and I think Ecuador will beat CR.

Please have a look a both squads. The Czech Republic has some superstars and how about the USA? You will see the Czech Republic dominating the midfield and a lot of passes to Koller who will try to make some headers. Whenever Nedved or Rosicky have the opportunity to shot a freekick near to the goal it will become more than dangerous for the USA.
Koller: 2.02 meters or 6.6 ft

USA - Ghana will be in my town (Nuernberg). I have no tickets for the match but will watch it at the "FAN FEST" (public viewing) right outside of the stadium (same for Germany vs Poland).
On Wednesday you will see something special. You saw our team arms in arms during the national anthem. Watch the game on Wednesday. This time the team and the whole stadium (except the polish fans) will be arms in arms during the anthem for showing support for our team (the same will happen at the mentioned "FAN FESTS" which are all around Germany. That means millions of Germans will be arms in arms. That is amazing and shows the way of our new patriotism and the support for our team. We are simply pride of being the hosts and of our team and will show it to the world.

The czechs have so much firepower in their arsenal that a clean sheet would be a huge surprise. It would be like keeping the Phx Suns to under 80 pts :D

Duh...this is the US. We want HIGH scoring matches.

US: 12
Czech Republic: 4

As TMQ puts it, all predictions wrong or your moneyback! ;)

I may be a sheep being led to slaughter, but....

GO US!

Wouldn't go that far. In qualifying against the next best teams (Holland and Romania) they managed a lone goal in four games.

Pinny offers;

Czech Republic
* OVER 0.5 -370
* UNDER 0.5 +340

Phoenix O/U 80 points would be a heck more.

Watch out for something very very special on Wednesday. At the first game you saw our national team arms in arms during the national anthem. This time, on Wednesday you will not only see the team arms in arms - this time you will see the whole stadium arms in arms during the anthem. And that is not all. At every public viewing point people will be arms in arms. That should show the team our support and indentification with them. We want to show them that they are one of us and we are one of them. It will be a very special moment and very emotional for us Germans. It was nearly forbidden for us to show any kind of pride since ww2. Whenever someone was proud of being German he was called a Nazi. The WC changed this totally. Now a whole nation is proud of being German. My generation and the generation before are not responsible for ww2 and what happened. We trash all people being responsible for it. BUT WHY SHOULDN`T WE BE PROUD OF BEING GERMAN more than 60 years after ww2. We are no racists, we are no nazis, we are simply Germans who are proud of hosting the WC. Keep that in mind when you see the scenery on Wednesday and please don`t call Germans Nazis anymore.
I guess whenever you meet someone who was in Germany for the WC or ever has been on a trip to Germany he will tell you that we are one of the best and friendliest hosts in the world.
