3 do or die games in college bases today. As far as I can see schedule wise, the 1st goes at 1 pm est and the other 2 go at 7 pm. Have to confirm this.

1st game 1 PM EST Rice -450 vs Oklahoma +350 -- no props posted

I played Rice for the max to win the best of 3 series early last week. Thanks to 3 errors and some wild pitches, Rice let Oklahoma stay in the game yesterday instead of finishing them off. The good thing is Rice has tons more quality pitching available for today than Oklahoma. The bad thing is Oklahoma bats got hot yesterday while Rice went virtually hitless the last 4 innings. Ist loss for Rice since May 12th.

I would expect Rice to start Craig Crow (11th round pick by the Rangers)today, quality junior who was 8-1 this year in starts. I believe Oklahoma will start Sr. Stephen Guerra. This is a big drop off in pitching talent from the #2 starter who went Saturday and the #1 McCutchen who went yesterday. Rice with the decided edge in pitching. Rice should also have the edge in hitting if seasonal averages hold for today.

If you are on Rice heavy for the series, then you may want to buy back some at +350 on Oklahoma today. Other than that, I wont be adding anymore to what I have riding on Rice already. So, no official play for me on this one.

7 pm est Georgia -150 vs S Carolina +130

Same scenario as with Rice. I have enough riding on Ga to win the series that I will not be making a play on this one. The price on SCar doesnt not warrant any hedge play either. Still think Ga wins today but there is not enough strentgh in today's play for me to warrant risking more vs a South Carolina team who will not go down without a fight. If Pelzer starts for SCar today and does what he did in game 3 last weekend, then this one will be very close til the end. The team that can get the key hit who takes advantage of an untimely error may turn out to be the winner in this one.

Prop play: Once again I will go with Joey Side -130 2 units vs Neil Giesler in total bases. Until Joey Side goes cold or Giesler gets hot, I have to ride this train.

7 pm EST Ole Miss -155 vs Miami +135

Currently have enough riding on Ole MIss to win the series. I cant risk more on a team who was shutout and only garnered 5 hits against a less than top notch college pitcher. On the flip side, neither of these teams has a dominant pitcher to go with today.

Ole Miss will probably face lefty Manny Miguelez (soph), while not a staff ace he has pitched well recently. Plus, Ole Miss has struggled at times when facing lefties this year. Ole Miss is likely giving the start to Lance Lynn. Lynn, while having good stuff, is a freshman who was drafted in the 6th round by Seattle out of high school. You never know how a freshman will handle the pressure of starting a deciding game of a super regional. The other option would be Garrett White, the team's closer who went 2 innings on saturday.

I will update with any play once I can confirm starters. That will probably be around 6pm.

Prop play: Jemile Weeks -135 3 units vs Zach Cozart in total bases
There is no one swinging the bat better than Weeks right now. While Cozart is no slouch, I also have the advantage of Weeks batting leadoff for the visiting team. He could end up with 1 more AB vs Cozart if Ole Miss is up on Miami in the 9th.

That's it for now. Check back around 6pm for a possible update. Good luck!

Got tied up with business work--10 minutes to get these in if interested.

Props:

Rohlinger -120 3 units vs Savery for more total bases Good 3 hitter vs a 5 hitter and Okl bats 1st. Rohlinger the hottest hitter for OU right now. Plus, if Rice loses, this guy will be one of the major factors.

Henley -110 1.5 units vs Caufield for more total bases Rice's leadoff hitter vs. OU's--Henley the better hitter with more power against weaker pitching.

Good luck to all.
