As some of you know here, I've sang the praises of Tampa starter Scott Kazmir for a little while, but am gonna stay away from playing his side until I see how this works out. Some info for tonight's matchup with Detroit and Verlander:
Scott Kazmir has gone three consecutive starts without a win, so he's going to try something different when he warms up for Monday's start in Detroit. Since Kazmir has felt somewhat out of rhythm, he plans to change his routine.

Kazmir said before he starts throwing his warm-up pitches, he is going to practice doing so to get a better feel for the proper release point of his fastball, changeup and slider.
