Guys I am not trying to recreate another ARTIE thread, but I think CLARIFICATION would be VERY nice,,,

***********************
If I bet that has moved from -130 to -140 and I bet it at -140,,, am i chaseing steam?? How many CENTS do BOS CONSIDER Steam?

If I bet a a game thats at -130, and by 5 hours laterTIPOFF (or bases) its at -155,,,, Im not chaseing steam??? right?? I just got the BEST number,, would BOS say Im too sharp then?
***********************

As we all know "steam" means very litttle, the truth is youi get horrid value and/or horrid numbers,

THIS IS NOT A BASH THREAD!!!!!!!! I WOULD LIKE A SMALL AMMOUNT OF CLARIFICATION?

WHAT is the "STEAM" number to BOS? -15 cents,, -20? -25? versus Natural adjustment,,

I have no Idea how ARTIES bet Steamed,, I would like to know,,, EXACTLY how did it steam, and how much,,:103631605
as I stated this is not a BASH THREAD I want ONLY clarification and there is NONEEEEEEE,,

Good ques, Tate.
But, bottom line, if BOS doesn't want the action, don't list the game. Too much uncertainty to play there.

Tate-- Have no idea.

My assumption is that BOS(or other books) could proclaim steam/syndicate play on almost all/any plays at their discretion........sad to say.

110K-Fish,,,,

Baseball is one of those sports where, I guess, you could "chase Steam" and hope to be on a SHARP side,,lol the Big Joke is that Most of those moves from the -105-115 side are scalpers lol,,,, betting HUGE monies on nothing more than to catch a few dollars,

hey thats cool,, Im not a real scalper, I will take some OFF if I see value, Id rather make my 1 play and let it ride,,,

the ML is all a bases bettor looks at, so there is

ALWASY gonna be "adjustments" or as BOS calls it "STEAM"

I would ASK Please will the BOS rep make an appearence and give us some paramenters,,

or better yet the NUMBERS Artie GOT as opposed to the Numbers offerrd,, hey If I saw a Bases Line Move from -105 to -155 I DEFINNATELY could see them maybe having a problem with that,,(actually not really but for arguements sake) their "STEAM" should be DEFINED as such,,,

exactly, no proof or anything is required, just a small inkling of suspicion and your bet is cancelled and winnings stolen from you. A player might not even know what a steam play is and he would STILL be subjected to having his money stolen from him simply because he happened to pick the same game that BoS determined (at their sole discretion) was "steamed".

Their rules are nothing more than a license for them to steal legitimate winnings from their players and their latest case of theft is a perfect example of them unilaterally applying their rules in their favor only.

Show me one instance where BoS actually returned the losses of a player who was found to have played a steam bet. Has this ever happened?? How many times have they stolen the winnings of a player who was found to have played a steam bet? I'd guess it happens alot more than what actually makes it "to the boards".

And what if a line moves two points and you take the other side since you're a contrarian bettor.....and you win!! Does that make you SUPER SHARP?????

Will your bet get confiscated because you are smarter than the average bear?
