getting ready to try something differnet in bases. Wondering what everyone thinks. Looking for more than 1 year wonders. The more plays, the more impressive (IMO)

Iceman has a good idea to look for more than "one year wonders", as he put it. Also, a player that has increased his BR over many plays, not just a few big bold bets, is another sign of someone that -might- worth paying attention to.

I find there is about 8 or so players I pay attention to on the online forums (3 or 4 are from TheRx). Definitely want to see who they are on every day.. but I certainly do not follow them bet-by-bet. But many do follow each and every play.. not my thing.

What I find especially interesting and insightful are the posters who post opinions on a game. You don't have to look around far to find a few guys who can write up some rather insightful stuff.. I find that type of "material" valuable. And, of course, I don't follow any opinion on an opinion-by-opinion basis either. But reading their stuff definitely influences the my own thinking on the games.

So I've not named names but it should be obvious who fits the above qualities here and across the street and across that street and downtown, around the corner, etc.

i can tell you, who is not the best this year (me), down a little over $2700 on the season..

hey ice, can you use the word "Timbuktu" in a rhyme?

Let me tell you, how we use it in the South..

"Me and Tim, a huntin went"......
"Came upon 3 whores in a pop up tent".

"They was 3 and we was 2".

I bucked one and tim bucked two...

:icon_conf you lost me there but if you are suggesting about exercisng I will say one thing I have worked EVERY DAY for almost 4 straight months, EVERY DAY. Making a SH*T load of money (commision) and trying to gamble it a way as fast as I make it:missingte .

Lazy is the last word you will find in my lifestyle in fact people laugh at me for my life is like groundhogs day. Work, walk dogs, eat, post, work post, cap, work and walk dogs(typical day). Pretty much in that order. Only sleep 5 hours a nite and NO NAPS. Want to beat this game of life more than anyone I know:suomi:

Tommorow's newspaper, usually bets 1-3 units, up 70+ units on the season, absolutely crushed the bases.

The best baseball capper on the forum is Tomorrow's Newspaper. He is as solid as they come. Never plays too many plays, and most of his plays are between 1-3 units. By far the best that I have seen and this is over a couple of years. :103631605

How often does Tomorrow's Newspaper post? I never really see his plays and would love to check them out myself.

I checked the tracker forum and he only posts every few days there.

Clip,

He posts at tfz1.com.....and he posts daily over there. Like I said before, he is as solid as they come. Up close to 80 units betting between 1-3 units a game. Very rarely has a 5 unit play, but when he does those are usually money. The way that you bet Clip, you may want to follow this guy. You may be able to buy a private jet and/or mansion in no time. :103631605

The best documented handicapper on the internet I've found is Eddie Dingle from SharpSportsBetting. SharpSportsBetting rules require that you post against "Widely Available" lines (but with line shopping you could usually get 5-10 cents better), and all plays must be 1 unit each, which prevents cappers from playing games with pick weighting (chasing while losing or whatever.) Unfortunately he hasn't posted picks yet this year.

Micelli is right up there this year. Think he's at about +65 units.

I believe he was up around 30 units in bases last year, posting for free (big dogs mainly). Then he became the college basketball "paid" capper and had a terrible year. Not posting in bases this year.

I do like the SSB rules for posting picks though. Would be difficult to enforce at a place like the rx however (too many posters).

Cappers like Tomorrow's Newspapers and Bucsfan are solid at baseball, but you gotta admire these cappers who go from sport to sport and continue to win. I'm talking about Micelli, Ace-Ace, Skinsraj, and how come nobody gives Blackbeard Pimp his props? He's very consistent!

Hey Ice

I've been meaning to ask you this for awhile now. Please tell me that you aren't that Iceman that used to call WDFN on the weekends with the "Icepick" program? You may or may not know who I am talking about. He used to call Stoney and give out a few NFL picks. I know that you are from the same area, so I figured I would ask. If not, then I apologize because his picks were terrible.

you aren't the first to ask me this. NO I am not but i do know who you are talking about. When I signed up here I tried the name jayhawk or something like that, but it was taken. I had no idea what to use and wanted to post something so I quickly decided on this name. I remember that I guy on the radio and it was one of the reason I chose that name, just playing around more or less. No affaliation with him though.

Eddie Dingle said well before the season started that he would not be able to post MLB this season due to prior commitment.

I know there are idiots out there who bet 20 unit games and
go from being up +100 units to +40 units in 3 days. Watch out
for those phuckers. Who is actually going to bet 20% of their
bankroll on a play cause some jerkoff from a gambling site said
he liked it??

A Good Capper is one who gets good lines and doesn't bet
-160 and up all the time.
